Abstract

Takabonerate National Park has 15 islands with potential for tourism, including islands with long stretches of white sand, seabird gathering spots, coral reefs, and other marine life. The third-largest atoll area in the world is found there. This atoll has a surface area of 220,000 hectares with flat coral reefs that range in width from 100 to 500 meters. Takabonerate has great maritime potential and its existence is well known, both at the regional, national and world levels. However, the boats currently operating in Takabonerate are mostly fishing boats operated by local residents. With such enormous potential, it would be a shame if this potential were hindered by inadequate facilities. Therefore, it is necessary to design a ship to support tourism in Takbonerate, namely the Glass Bottom Boat. A glass-bottom boat is one that has glass parts, a panoramic bottom glass, or another suitable transparent material below the waterline that allows passengers to view the underwater environment within the boat. . This ship can be a solution to the problem that only fishing boats operate in that area. The Glass Bottom Boat can support tourism in Takabonerate South Sulawesi, Selayar Regency by planning a trip route that is divided into two with a speed of 7.5 knots. The ship is designed to have 12 passengers and 3 crew members. After conducting technical analysis, the main measure is Lpp = 13 meters, B = 2,2 meters, H = 1,5 meters, T = 0,45 meters with the type of ship material Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) then the ship also uses acrylic as a glass bottom on the hull, and the joints used on the hull are threaded fastener and polyurethane adhesive. The results of these calculations are then used to design Lines Plans, General Arrangements, Safety Plans, and 3D Models.

Taman Nasional Takabonerate memiliki 15 pulau yang memiliki potensi wisata, antara lain pulau dengan pasir putih yang membentang panjang, tempat berkumpulnya burung laut, terumbu karang, dan biota laut lainnya. Kawasan atol terbesar ketiga di dunia terdapat di sana. Atol ini memiliki luas permukaan 220.000 hektar dengan terumbu karang datar yang lebarnya berkisar antara 100 hingga 500 meter. Takabonerate memiliki potensi maritim yang besar dan keberadaannya sudah terkenal, baik di tingkat regional, nasional, hingga dunia. Namun perahu yang beroperasi di Takabonerate saat ini sebagian besar merupakan perahu nelayan yang dioperasikan oleh warga setempat. Dengan potensi yang begitu besar, sayang sekali jika potensi tersebut terhambat oleh fasilitas yang kurang memadai. Oleh karena itu, perlu dirancang sebuah kapal untuk menunjang pariwisata di Takbonerate, yaitu Glass Bottom Boat. Perahu dengan alas kaca adalah perahu yang memiliki bagian kaca, kaca dasar panorama, atau bahan transparan lain yang sesuai di bawah permukaan air sehingga penumpang dapat melihat lingkungan bawah air di dalam perahu. . Kapal ini bisa menjadi solusi permasalahan selama ini hanya kapal nelayan yang beroperasi di kawasan tersebut. Glass Bottom Boat dapat menunjang pariwisata di Takabonerate Sulawesi Selatan Kabupaten Selayar dengan merencanakan rute perjalanan yang terbagi dua dengan kecepatan 7,5 knot. Kapal ini dirancang mampu mengangkut 12 penumpang dan 3 awak kapal. Setelah dilakukan analisa teknik maka ukuran pokoknya adalah Lpp=13 meter, B = 2,2 meter, H = 1,5 meter, T = 0,45 meter dengan jenis material kapal Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) maka kapal juga menggunakan akrilik sebagai alas kaca pada lambung kapal, dan sambungan yang digunakan pada lambung kapal adalah pengikat berulir dan perekat poliuretan. Hasil perhitungan tersebut selanjutnya digunakan untuk merancang Rencana Garis, Pengaturan Umum, Rencana Keselamatan, dan Model 3D.
