Abstract

Kota Semarang merupakan salah satu kota besar di Indonesia yang memiliki Sungai Banjir Kanal Timur yang berfungsi sebagai saluran air untuk mencegah banjir. Namun, saat ini sungai tersebut menghadapi tantangan berupa kapasitas penampungan air yang tidak memadai saat hujan lebat, yang menyebabkan banjir di daerah sekitarnya di sepanjang bantaran sungai. Hal ini telah menjadi masalah yang mendesak di Semarang. Oleh karena itu, pelebaran sungai dan pengerukan sedimentasi di Sungai Banjir Kanal Timur sangat diperlukan. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah untuk melakukan analisis teknis desain kapal yang sesuai dengan karakteristik Sungai Banjir Kanal Timur. Kapal keruk backhoe elektrik dipilih sebagai kapal yang dipilih untuk mengurangi emisi dan ramah lingkungan serta efektif dalam mengatasi masalah pengerukan. Perhitungan kapasitas pengerukan dilakukan untuk menentukan sistem propulsi yang sesuai untuk Self-Propelled Backhoe Dredger dengan menggunakan electric backhoe. Dari analisa yang dilakukan, maka dibuatlah Lines Plan, General Arrangement, dan model 3D kapal. Diharapkan hasil dari Tugas Akhir ini dapat membantu menunjang proses belajar mengajar dan sebagai model desain bagi mahasiswa dengan harapan dapat dikembangkan. Hal ini akan membantu pemerintah daerah dan instansi terkait dalam menjaga kebersihan dan kualitas sungai serta mengurangi risiko banjir di wilayah tersebut Desain kapal memenuhi persyaratan analisis teknis, termasuk stabilitas, trim, dan freeboard. Kapal yang didesain memiliki kapasitas awak kapal sebanyak 2 orang, dengan dimensi utama sebagai berikut: panjang (l) = 12m, lebar (b) = 5m, draft (t) = 1.95m, tinggi (h) = 3m, dan kecepatan dinas (vs) = 8 knot.

Semarang city is one of the major cities in Indonesia which is has the Banjir Kanal Timur River, which serves as a water channel to prevent floods. However, it currently faces the challenge of inadequate water-holding capacity during heavy rainfall, leading to flooding in the surrounding areas along the riverbank. This has become a pressing issue in Semarang. Therefore, the widening of the river and dredging of sedimentation in the Banjir Kanal Timur River are necessary. Therefore, The objective of this thesis is to conduct a technical analysis of ship design suitable for the characteristics of the Banjir Kanal Timur River. An electric backhoe dredger is chosen as the preferred vessel to reduce emissions and be environmentally friendly while effectively addressing the dredging issues. The dredging capacity calculation is carried out to determine the suitable propulsion system for the Self-Propelled Backhoe Dredger using electric backhoe. From the analysis conducted, the Lines Plan, General Arrangement, and a 3D model of the ship have been developed. It is expected that the results of this Final Project can help support the teaching and learning process and as a design model for students in the hope that it will be developed. This will help the local government and related agencies in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of the river and reducing the risk of flooding in the region The ship design meets the technical analysis requirements, including stability, trim, and freeboard. The designed ship has a crew capacity of 2 people, with the following main dimensions: length (l) = 12m, breadth (b) = 5m, draft (t) = 1.95m, height (h) = 3m, and service speed (vs) = 8 knots.
