Abstract

Kebisingan pada gerbong kereta api dapat mengganggu kenyamanan penumpang. Kebisingan pada gerbong dapat disebabkan melalui beberapa faktor, salah satunya adalah bising dari air conditioner yang ditransmisikan melalui udara dan struktur. Penelitian sebelumnya dinilai belum efektif karena hanya mempertimbangkan frekuensi tinggi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik kebisingan AC dari segi akustik dan getaran komponen AC, terutama pada frekuensi rendah. Objek penelitian adalah gerbong T KRDE dengan unit AC jenis ACI-4004. Pengukuran tingkat tekanan bunyi (TTB) dilakukan pada AC Unit dan gerbong KRDE dalam kondisi statis untuk mengetahui persebaran TTB. Selain itu, pengukuran getaran komponen dalam AC dilakukan untuk mengetahui respon getaran yang dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun frekuensi dominan kebisingan akustik terletak pada 1000 Hz pada AC Unit ACI-4004, kontribusi TTB terbesar terjadi pada frekuensi rendah, khususnya pada 125 Hz dan 250 Hz. Pada gerbong, TTB lebih tinggi pada ketinggian 1,6 m dibanding dengan ketinggian 1,2 m, dengan TTB tertinggi terdapat pada titik F. Karakteristik getaran dari kompresor dan kipas evaporator pada frekuensi rendah juga diamati. Pada kompresor, peak tertinggi didapatkan pada frekuensi 48 Hz dan 100 Hz. Sedangkan pada kipas evaporator, peak tertinggi muncul pada frekuensi 23 Hz dan 100 Hz. Dalam kesimpulannya, penelitian ini mengungkapkan peranan frekuensi rendah dalam kebisingan gerbong kereta api akibat AC. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan untuk mengembangkan strategi mitigasi yang lebih efektif dalam mengurangi kebisingan di dalam gerbong kereta api akibat aliran AC di frekuensi rendah.

The noise in train carriages can disrupt passenger comfort. The noise in carriages can be caused by various factors, one of which is the noise from the air conditioner transmitted through the air and structure. Previous studies were considered ineffective as they only focused on high frequencies. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the characteristics of AC noise from the acoustic and vibration aspects of AC components, particularly at low frequencies. The object of the study is the T type carriage of KRDE with an AC unit of ACI-4004 type. Measurements of sound pressure levels (SPL) were conducted on the AC unit and KRDE carriage in a static condition to understand the distribution of SPL. Additionally, measurements of component vibrations within the AC were carried out to understand the vibration responses produced. The research findings indicate that although the dominant frequency of acoustic noise lies at 1000 Hz in the AC Unit ACI-4004, the largest SPL contribution occurs at low frequencies, particularly at 125 Hz and 250 Hz. In the carriage, SPL is higher at a height of 1.6 m compared to 1.2 m, with the highest SPL recorded at point F. The characteristics of vibrations from the compressor and evaporator fan at low frequencies were also observed. The compressor had its highest peak at 48 Hz and 100 Hz, while the evaporator fan had its highest peak at 23 Hz and 100 Hz. In conclusion, this study reveals the significance of low frequencies in the noise generated in train carriages due to AC flow. The results are expected to serve as a reference for developing more effective mitigation strategies to reduce noise in train carriages caused by AC flow at low frequencies.
