Abstract

Magang merupakan suatu keharusan bagi setiap mahasiswa Fakultas Vokasi Program Diploma IV Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember dalam mencapai gelar Sarjana Terapan. Kegiatan magang dilaksanakan selain karena dapat memberikan manfaat bagi mahasiswa dalam pemenuhan studi kegiatan magang juga merupakan pengaplikasian ilmu yang telah diperoleh selama di bangku perkuliahan dan bagaimana penerapannya di dunia kerja. Melalui kegiatan magang ini diharapkan adanya suatu kecocokan materi yang telah dipelajari mahasiswa di bangku kuliah dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan sesungguhnya di dunia kerja. Magang bertujuan untuk melatih mahasiswa agar terbiasa dengan lingkungan kerja, sehingga dari Magang tersebut mahasiswa dilatih cara kerja yang baik dan benar. Sebelum mahasiswa memasuki dunia kerja, mahasiswa bisa memahami betapa sulitnya bekerja dan perlu banyak latihan sebelum memasuki dunia kerja dan disiplin merupakan salah satu kunci keberhasilan bagi mahasiswa. Dalam kegiatan Magang penulis memilih untuk melakukan Magang di salah satu cabang perusahaan BUMN (Badan Usaha Milik Negara) yaitu PT.Adhi Persada Beton. Perusahaan tersebut merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang produksi material Beton Precast dan Ready mix pada beberapa proyek - proyek besar di Indonesia. Alasan penulis memilih menjalankan magang di PT. Adhi Persada Beton adalah untuk menambah ilmu dan pengalaman bekerja di perusahaan, serta memiliki pengalaman magang di salah satu anak perusahaan BUMN besar seperti PT. Adhi Persada Beton merupakan suatu kebanggaan bagi penulis

Internship is a requirement for every student of the Vocational Faculty, Diploma IV Program at the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science. The internship program is not only beneficial for students in fulfilling their academic requirements, but also serves as an application of the knowledge gained during their academic studies and its implementation in the professional world. Through this internship program, it is expected that there will be a match between the theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom and its practical implementation in the working environment. The purpose of the internship is to train students to adapt to the working environment, so they can learn the proper and effective ways of working. Before students enter the workforce, they need to understand the challenges of working and the importance of practicing and discipline as key factors for success.
For this internship, the author chose to work at one of the branches of a State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) company, namely PT. Adhi Persada Beton. The company operates in the production of Precast and Ready Mix Concrete materials for several major projects in Indonesia. The reason for choosing PT. Adhi Persada Beton for the internship is to gain knowledge and work experience in the company and to have the opportunity to intern at one of the large BUMN subsidiaries, such as PT. Adhi Persada Beton, is a matter of pride for the author
