Abstract

Persaingan bisnis yang semakin ketat tidak terlepas dari peran sumber daya manusia sebagai aset utama dalam suatu perusahaan. Dalam kondisi ekonomi yang berubah saat ini sangat penting untuk mempertahankan, melibatkan dan membuat karyawan yang berkualitas untuk berkomitmen pada organisasi dan tujuannya. Salah satu cara untuk mengetahui keterikatan karyawan adalah dengan melakukan evaluasi employee engagement. Karyawan yang memiliki tingkat engagement yang tinggi maka akan meningkatkan performansi organisasi. Evaluasi ini dapat diimplementasikan di PT X mengingat selama dua tahun terakhir, perusahaan menghadapi tingginya tingkat turnover karyawan. Turnover di tahun 2021 sebesar 38% dan pada tahun 2022 turnover karyawan sebesar 29,5%. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian ini dengan menyebar kuesioner employee engagement dan kuesioner kepuasan kerja dengan skala likert. Penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan ordinal logistic regression karena variabel respon dengan variabel prediktor yang berupa kategorial dan memiliki tingkatan. Didapatkan dari hasil penelitian bahwa variabel yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja secara signifikan adalah variabel Expected (X1), Progress (X11), dan Learn and Grow (X12). Variabel independen mempengaruhi tingkat kepuasan kerja secara umum sebesar 80,2%. Selain itu berdasarkan pengukuran employee engagement didapatkan bahwa 31% karyawan merasa engaged, 68% karyawan merasa disengaged, dan 1% karyawan merasa actively disengaged. Tingkat employee engagement pada generasi z memiliki persentase kategori disengaged lebih besar dibandingkan generasi millennial. Dari faktor-faktor yang telah diketahui dalam kepuasan kerja karyawan diharapkan dapat digunakan oleh PT X untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan melalui peningkatan employee engagement.

The intensifying business competition is closely tied to the pivotal role of human resources as the primary asset within a company. In today's changing economic conditions it is very important to retain, engage and make qualified employees committed to the organization and its goals. One way to find out employee engagement is to evaluate employee engagement. Employees who have a high level of engagement will improve organizational performance. This evaluation can be implemented at PT X considering that for the past two years, the company has faced a high employee turnover rate. Turnover in 2021 was 38% and in 2022 employee turnover was 29.5%. Therefore, this research was conducted by distributing employee engagement questionnaires and job satisfaction questionnaires on a Likert scale. This research analyzed using ordinal logistic regression because the response variable with predictor variables is categorical and has levels. The results show that the variables that significantly affect job satisfaction are Expected (X1), Progress (X11), and Learn and Grow (X12). Independent variables affect the general level of job satisfaction by 80.2%. In addition, based on the measurement of employee engagement, it is found that 31% of employees feel engaged, 68% of employees feel disengaged, and 1% of employees feel actively disengaged. The level of employee engagement in generation z has a greater percentage of disengaged categories than the millennial generation. From the factors that have been known in employee job satisfaction, it is hoped that PT X can be used to increase employee job satisfaction through increasing employee engagement.
