Abstract
Emisi gas buang kapal merupakan salah satu penyumbang gas CO terbesar yang menyebabkan efek rumah kaca. Pelayaran global memuntahkan 3% gas rumah kaca (GRK) dunia.

Ship exhaust emissions are one of the biggest contributors to CO gas which causes the greenhouse effect. Global shipping spews out 3% of worldwide greenhouse gases (GHG). Regulations regarding the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) effect in the marine industry have been implemented since 2013 by adapting Annex VI Marpol. The goal of this regulation is to reach zero emissions in 2050. This strategy can be achieved through the development and implementation of emissions regulations, commonly referred to as greenhouse gas (GHG) regulations, comprising EEDI and EEXI. In this thesis, the author will explain in detail about IMO, EEDI, and EEXI regulations and their impact on ships, especially LNG Carrier vessels. LNG Carrier is one of the high-tech vessels, compared with other types of vessels to support safety and low-carbon emissions. The author will also include the formula used to calculate the value of ship emissions in the EEDI and EEXI certification processes, according to the standards set by IMO. With this thesis, it is hoped that readers will understand more about IMO, EEDI, and EEXI regulations, especially those related to their impact on LNG Carriers, emission calculation methods in accordance with IMO standards, and efforts that can be made to meet the requirements.
