Abstract

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) tank containers are specialised containers made for the transportation of LNG. Following the significant demand for LNG as a low-emission and environmentally friendly energy source, LNG tank containers are now available as a cutting-edge solution to aid in the mass transportation of LNG in an affordable, effective, and efficient way. These containers are typically cylindrical in shape. Consider Test loads were determined considering the various environmental loads that a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) tank container must endure during its entire lifecycles, such as filling, transportation, and storage is research. 53-feet LNG tank Containers are subjected to structural analysis assessment using Finite Element Analysis (FEM). Several loads will charge the container according to ISO 1496. The result of this research is expected to ensure how much maximum stress the container will get and the deformation that occurs in the container during these test conditions.
