Abstract

Indonesia not only possesses a lot of marine resources but also a variety of them due to its extensive ocean territory. Indonesia has an abundance of maritime resources; hence, the government should perform surveillance to safeguard Indonesia's marine prosperity. On the other hand, Indonesia still possesses quite a few surveillance vessels, so there are lots of occurrences of illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing. An accommodation barge as surveillance post could be one of the solution of that problem. That accommodation barge may utilize for the crew to rest and refueling for the patrol vessels. This final project aims to design a good accommodation barge with solar panels as a surveillance post. The main dimension of the accommodation barge are; Length overall (LOA): 50 meters; breadth (B): 18 meters; depth (H): 4 meters; and draft (T): 2.5 meters. This vessel can accommodate 65 people and 445.95 tons of fuel oil. The surveillance post in this final project located in the northern waters of Halmahera Island, one of the regions with the higher rates of IUU fishing.

Indonesia tidak hanya memiliki sumber daya laut yang banyak tetapi juga beragam karena wilayah lautnya yang luas. Indonesia memiliki sumber daya maritim yang melimpah; karenanya, pemerintah harus melakukan pengawasan untuk menjaga kemakmuran laut Indonesia. Di sisi lain, Indonesia memiliki cukup sedikit kapal pengawas, sehingga masih banyak terjadi illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing. Sebuah tongkang akomodasi sebagai pos pengawasan bisa menjadi salah satu solusi dari masalah itu. Tongkang akomodasi tersebut dapat digunakan untuk awak kapal untuk beristirahat dan mengisi bahan bakar untuk kapal patroli. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk merancang tongkang akomodasi dengan panel surya yang baik sebagai pos pengawasan. Dimensi utama tongkang akomodasi tersebut adalah; Panjang (LOA): 50 meter; lebar (B): 18 meter; tinggi (H): 4 meter; dan sarat (T): 2,5 meter. Kapal ini mampu menampung 65 orang dan 445,95 ton bahan bakar minyak. Pos pengawasan dalam tugas akhir ini terletak di utara perairan Pulau Halmahera, salah satu daerah dengan tingkat IUU fishing yang cukup tinggi.
