Abstract

Kapal penangkap ikan merupakan salah satu sarana yang digunakan nelayan untuk mencari dan menangkap ikan. Dalam proses penangkapan ikan, banyak hal yang mempengaruhi operasinya, seperti pasang surut, cuaca, bulan, dan lain-lain. Sehingga tidak setiap waktu nelayan dapat melakukan operasi penangkapan ikan. Oleh karena itu, pendapatan nelayan dari melaut tidak selalu stabil. Hasil tangkapan nelayan di Muncar dan Banyuwangi mengalami penurunan dalam beberapa periode terakhir. Untuk mendukung kestabilan pendapatan nelayan di Muncar, perlu dilakukan inovasi desain kapal penangkap ikan berkecepatan tinggi yang digunakan
untuk menangkap ikan. Konsep desain kapal penangkap ikan berkecepatan tinggi ini menggunakan material FRP yang ringan sehingga nelayan dapat bekerja lebih efektif. Desain kapal yang dihasilkan memenuhi analisa teknis yang meliputi displacement, stability, trim, dan freeboard. Kapal yang dirancang memiliki Length Overall (LoA) 14 meter, Breadth (B) 3,50 meter, Height (H) 1,75 meter, dan Draft (T) 0,70 meter, dengan kecepatan (VS) 25 knots

Fishing boats are one of the means used by fishermen to find and catch fish. In the process of fishing, many things affect its operations, such as tides, weather, the moon, and other things. So that not every time fishermen can carry out fishing operations. Therefore, fishermen's income from fishing is not always stable. The catch of fishermen in Muncar and Banyuwangi has decreased in the last period. To support the stability of fishermen's income in Muncar, it is necessary to innovate the design of fishing boats with high speeds used to catch fish. The design concept for this high-speed fishing boat uses lightweight FRP material so that fishermen can work more effectively. The resulting ship design meets technical analysis, which includes displacement, stability, trim, and freeboard. The designed ship has an overall length (LoA) of 14 meters, a breadth (B) of 3.50 meters, a height (H) of 1.75 meters, and a draft (T) of 0.70 meters, with a speed (VS) of 25 knots.
