Abstract

Oil Transporting natural gas or petroleum from a production facility to a consumer or from a resource location to a production facility requires the use of oil and gas pipelines, which are a crucial component of the infrastructure. Due to the extensive distance between the factory and each station, these pipelines may have a lengthy structure. They also need to operate reliably and safely under a variety of conditions. In this research oil and gas pipelines will be analyzed. The research employs advanced numerical methods, such as finite element analysis (FEA), to simulate the pipeline's behavior under different operating conditions. Non-linear material behavior, including plastic deformation and material yielding, is taken into account to capture the pipeline's actual response. Various loading scenarios are simulated to assess the pipeline's structural integrity and potential failure modes, such as buckling, collapse, or excessive deformation. ASME B31.4 and ASME B31.8 are used as standard references to compare the results obtained in the analysis according to the standard.
