Abstract

Pohon dapat dikatakan sehat dengan syarat dapat melakukan fungsi fisiologisnya dengan baik. Pohon-pohon yang sehat dapat menandakan kesehatan hutan yang baik dimana hal tersebut menjadi salah satu parameter untuk mengukur kesehatan hutan. Pada Hutan Sumber Pawon, yang merupakan salah satu hutan hujan tropis memiliki keanekaragaman tumbuhan yang melimpah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui karakteristik tumor pada pohon di Hutan Sumber Pawon, serta untuk mengetahui kelimpahan tumor pada pohon di Hutan Sumber Pawon, Kediri. Observasi penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari 2022 – Maret 2022, dengan melakukan pengamatan di 14 titik sampling yang telah ditentukan di Hutan Sumber Pawon sehingga akan di dapatkan data mengenai kelimpahan dan karakteristik tumor pada pohon terjangkit. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling pada setiap titik pengamatan. Identifikasi tumor pada pohon dilakukan dengan mengamati pohon di setiap titik pengamatan untuk menemukan pohon terinfeksi tumor, yang akan di identifikasi mengenai karakteristik tumornya dengan parameter bentuk tumor, ukuran tumor, warna tumor tekstur tumor, ukuran diameter tumor. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan bahwa terdapat beberapa pohon di kawasan Hutan Sumber Pawon terserang penyakit tumor. Kelimpahan tumor paling paling banyak ditemukan pada titik 3 dengan jumlah 13 tumor dan kelimpahan tumor paling sedikit ditemukan pada titik 14 dengan jumlah 1 tumor. Adapun jumlah individu pohon terjangkit tumor paling banyak ditemukan pada titik 1 dan 8 dengan jumlah masing-masing titik yaitu sebanyak 4 individu pohon, dan jumlah pohon paling sedikit ditemukan pada titik 3 dan 14 dengan jumlah masing-masing titik sebanyak 1 individu pohon terjangkit tumor.

A tree can be said healthy on condition that it can perform its physiological properly. Healthy trees may indicate good health forest. In the Sumber Pawon forest, which is one of the tropical rain forest has abundant plant diversty. This research was conducted to determine the characeristics of tumors on trees in the Sumber Pawon forest, as well as to know the abundance of trees in the Sumber Pawon forest. The observation of this study was conducted in January 2022 – March 2022 by observing 14 points sampling that has been determined in the Sumber Pawon forest, so it will be obtained data on abundance and characteristics of tumors in tree infections. This research is using purposive sampling method at any points of observation. The identification of tumors on trees is done by observing trees at each observation point to find tumor infected trees, which will be identified about its tumor characteristics with the parameter of tumor shape, tumor size, tumor color, tumor texture and tumor diameter. The result obtained in research that has been done, it is obtained that there are several trees in the forest area of Sumber Pawon sort of tumor disease. The most commonly tumor abundance is found at point 3 with the number of tumor is 13 tumors, and also the least tumor found at point 14 with the number of tumor is 1 tumor.The number of individual tree infected tumors is width at the point 1 and 8 with the total amount of each 4 tree individuals, and the least point found at point 3 and 14 with the number of each points is 1 individual tree that infected tumor.
