Abstract

Model regresi probit bivariat rekursif semiparametrik kubik adalah model yang menggambarkan hubungan antara dua variabel respon berupa data kategorikal biner dengan satu atau lebih variabel prediktor berupa data kategorik serta data kontinu dengan fungsi penghalus yaitu regresi spline kubik serta mempertimbangkan masalah endogenitas. Permasalah endogenitas ini kasus model dimana variabel endogen dapat menjadi variabel eksogen. Model regresi probit bivariat rekursif semiparametrik kubik diterapkan data berbentuk kategori, salah satunya variabelnya yaitu pemberian asi eksklusif dan status ibu bekerja. Pemberian asi eksklusif dan status ibu bekerja tersebut diasumsikan berkorelasi. Pemberian asi eksklusif merupakan pembangunan kesehatan, salah satu bagian dari pembangunan nasional agar dapat meningkatkan kualitas manusia Indonesia, termasuk bayi baru lahir. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas bayi baru lahir adalah dengan memberikan asi eksklusif pada bayi baru lahir selama 6 bulan. Pada tahun 2021, pemberian asi eksklusif di provinsi jawa timur menurun dari tahun 2020.Penelitian ini akan mengkaji metode tersebut dan mengaplikasikannya agar mendapatkan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemberian asi eksklusif dan status ibu bekerja di Provinsi Jawa Timur tahun 2021. Hasil penelitian ini, variabel prediktor yang berpengaruh terhadap pemberian asi eksklusif yaitu umur ibu, pendidikan ibu, penolong kelahiran terakhir dan variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap status ibu bekerja yaitu pemberian asi ekslusif, pekerjaan ayah, pendidikan ibu, dan umur ibu.

Cubic semiparametric recursive bivariate probit regression model is a model that describes the relationship between two response variables in the form of binary categorical data with one or more predictor variables in the form of categorical data and continuous data with a smoothing function, namely cubic spline regression and considering endogeneity issues. This endogeneity problem is a model case where endogenous variables can become exogenous variables. The cubic semiparametric recursive bivariate probit regression model was applied to categorical data, one of the variables being exclusive breastfeeding and working mother status. Exclusive breastfeeding and the status of working mothers are assumed to be correlated. Exclusive breastfeeding is health development, a part of national development in order to improve the quality of Indonesian people, including newborns. One of the efforts to improve the quality of newborns is to provide exclusive breastfeeding for newborns for 6 months. In 2021, exclusive breastfeeding in East Java province will decrease from 2020. This research will examine this method and apply it in order to obtain factors that influence exclusive breastfeeding and the status of working mothers in East Java province in 2021. The results of this study, predictor variables that influence exclusive breastfeeding are mother's age, mother's education, last birth attendant and variables that affect working mother's status are exclusive breastfeeding, father's occupation, mother's education, and mother's age.
