Abstract

Sektor industri manufaktur diharapkan oleh pemerintah dalam pemulihan ekonomi nasional. Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) sebagai salah satu kontributor terbesar industri manufaktur di Indonesia perlu dipersiapkan dalam proses pemulihan kinerja industri manufaktur dan pemulihan ekonomi nasional. IKM logam Ngingas merupakan salah satu IKM yang diharapkan pemerintah untuk mampu meningkatkan kinerja bisnis, karena IKM logam Ngingas membawa pengaruh krusial dalam sumbangsih kepada kabupaten Sidoarjo dan menggerakan aktivitas perekonomian masyarakat sekitar. Dalam industri manufaktur yang kompetitif, IKM logam Ngingas harus menerapkan strategi inovatif untuk tetap bersaing dan meningkatkan kinerja. Dikarenakan peran penting inovasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan, banyak riset yang menyatakan bahwa budaya organisasi mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap inovasi dan kinerja bisnis. Budaya organisasi, Technological Innovation Capability (TIC), dan kinerja bisnis saling terkait dan memiliki hubungan, sehingga tujuannya riset ini ialah untuk menyelidiki hubungan diantara variabel-variabel tersebut. Riset ini memakai metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan pengrajin di IKM Logam Ngingas sebagai responden. Data yang digunakan berjumlah 216 responden. Di riset ini, data dianalisis memakai metode Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menampilkan bahwa budaya organisasi mempunyai pengaruh terhadap Technological Innovation Capability (TIC), dan TIC memengaruhi pada kinerja bisnis. Selain itu, budaya organisasi juga mempunyai pengaruh kepada kinerja bisnis, dan TIC berperan sebagai mediator antara budaya organisasi dan kinerja bisnis.

The manufacturing sector is expected by the government to play a crucial role in the national economic recovery. Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), as significant contributors to the manufacturing sector in Indonesia, need to be prepared in the process of reviving the performance of the manufacturing industry and the national economy. One such SME is IKM Logam Ngingas, which is expected by the government to enhance its business performance since it holds a crucial influence in contributing to Sidoarjo regency's development and driving economic activities in the surrounding community. In a competitive manufacturing industry, IKM Logam Ngingas must adopt innovative strategies to remain competitive and improve its performance. Given the essential role of innovation in enhancing a company's performance, several studies have emphasized the significant impact of organizational culture on innovation and business performance. Organizational culture, Technological Innovation Capability (TIC), and business performance are interconnected and related. Hence, the objective of this research is to investigate the relationships among these variables. This study employs a quantitative descriptive method with metalworkers from IKM Logam Ngingas as respondents. A total of 216 respondents' data were utilized. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The findings indicate that organizational culture has a direct influence on Technological Innovation Capability (TIC), and TIC, in turn, has an impact on business performance. Additionally, organizational culture also directly affects business performance, with TIC playing a mediating role between organizational culture and business performance.
