Abstract

Pengangguran merupakan permasalahan yang harus diselesaikan karena dapat berdampak buruk pada perekonomian suatu daerah tidak terkecuali di Aceh. Data dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) menunjukkan bahwa masalah pengangguran di Aceh dalam setiap tahunnya mengalami fluktuatif. Tingkat pengangguran yang tinggi akan menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan sosial dan juga menyebabkan tingkat pendapatan nasional dan tingkat kemakmuran masyarakat tidak mencapai potensi maksimal. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan analisis untuk memodelkan Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka dengan faktor-faktor yang diduga mempengaruhi. Pemodelan dilakukan dengan metode regresi nonparametrik Spline dimana digunakan metode Generalized Cross Validation (GCV) untuk memeperoleh titik knot yang optimal. Keterbatasan informasi bentuk fungsi dan ketidakjelasan pola hubungan antara variabel prediktor dan variabel respon menjadi pertimbangan untuk digunakan pendekatan nonparametrik dengan menggunakan metode Spline.

Unemployment is a problem that must be resolved because it can adversely affect the economy of an area, no exception on the Aceh. Data from the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) shows that the unemployment problem in Aceh has increased every year. High unemployment leads to several social problems and also causes national income rate and communities’ prosperity rate do not reach their full potential. Therefore, the analysis is needed to model the Unemployment Rate with the influence factors. Modeling was conducted using spline nonparametric regression by using Generalized Cross Validation (GCV) method to obtain an optimal knot point. Limited information and ambiguity function of relationship patterns between predictor variables and the response variable are considered to use nonparametric approach using Spline method.
