Abstract

Indonesia is one of the cities with a high level of exhaust emissions from vehicles with fuel oil. This final project intends to provide a solution to reduce the number of exhaust emissions and to save fuel consumption by incorporating the concept of a ship with a hybrid propulsion system and also helping BASARNAS to increase the number of search and rescue vessels. The type of hybrid used is a hydrogen fuel cell. The main measurements obtained are Lpp = 16,411 m; B = 4.521 m; H=3.6m; H = 1.2m; Vs = 15 knot. The amount of hydrogen demand for this ship is 9,3 kg/day. Keywords: Search and Rescue Vessel, Hybrid System, Hydrogen Fuel Cell
