Abstract
Dalam melakukan pekerjaan bawah laut, manusia menggunakan peralatan selam seperti kacamata dan tabung oksigen sebagai alat yang wajib digunakan seorang penyelam. Sementara fisik dan stamina yang dimiliki manusia terbatas. Underwater robot sering digunakan dalam berbagai aplikasi kegiatan bawah air, termasuk tugas eksplorasi, pengawasan, dan inspeksi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu studi, merancang dan membuat Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) yang khusus untuk operasi bawah laut yang sesuai dengan kondisi perairan Indonesia. Studi dan perancangan dilakukan dengan menganalisis karakteristik dari perairan yang terdapat Indonesia untuk mendapatkan kondisi yang cocok untuk mengetahui jenis UUV. Kemudian analisis bentuk dan produksi Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) yang terdapat di dunia dan jenis pekerjaan yang dilakukan untuk mendukung tujuan dari perancangan prototipe UUV. Dengan didapatkannya misi yang sesuai perencanaan desain dilakukan untuk dengan menentukan ukuran utama, berat prototipe keseluruhan, hambatan dan titik berat dari prototipe UUV. Untuk mendefinisikan hasil perhitungan prototipe UUV dilakukan proses desain model dengan membuat rencana umum desain untuk mengambarkan posisi awal dari setiap komponen, kemudian rencana garis berupa bodyplan, half-breadth plan dan sheer plan umumnya untuk mengetahui bentuk dari lambung terutama bagian yang tercelup air. Selanjutnya, gambaran umum desain UUV dijadikan gambar 3 dimensi untuk mendapatkan detail bentuk dan perencanaan untuk kemudian dibuatkan prototype sebagai bahan uji untuk validasi data perhitungan permodelan UUV. Hasil pengujian didapatkan berdasarkan dari kesesuaian ukuran desain, stabilitas model, hambatan model berdasarkan kecepatan yang dapat ditempuh, dan ketahanan dari enclosure terhadap tekanan hidrostatis yang dihasilkan saat dikolam uji.

In carrying out underwater work, humans use diving equipment such as goggles and oxygen cylinders as tools that must be used by a diver. While the physical and stamina possessed by humans have limits. Underwater robots are often used in a variety of underwater activity applications, including exploration, surveillance and inspection tasks. This research aims to study, design and manufacture an Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) specifically for underwater construction and the conditions of Indonesian waters. The study and design were carried out by analyzing the characteristics of the waters in Indonesia to obtain suitable conditions to find out what type of UUV the author should design. Then analyze the form and production of Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUV) that exist in the world and the types of work carried out to support the objectives of designing the UUV prototype. By obtaining an appropriate mission, design planning is carried out to determine the UUV prototype's main size, overall prototype weight, resistance and center of gravity. To define the UUV prototype calculation results, the prototype design process is carried out by making a general design plan to describe the initial position of each component, then a line plan in the form of a body plan, half-breadth plan and sheer plan in general to determine the shape of the hull, especially the part that is submerged in water. Furthermore, the general description of the UUV design is made into a 3-dimensional image to get details of the shape and planning and then a prototype is made as a test material for validating UUV modeling calculation data. The test results were obtained based on the suitability of the design size, prototype stability, prototype resistance based on the speed that can be reached, and the resistance of the enclosure to the hydrostatic pressure generated in the test pool.
