Abstract
Industri tekstil, pendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi negara, mengalami banyak perubahan terutama peningkatan otomasi dan adopsi teknologi baru. Hal tersebut mengharuskan PT. “J” sebagai salah satu perusahaan celup kain di Jawa Barat fokus pada peningkatan reliabilitas dan availabilitas operasi agar tetap kompetitif dan memenuhi permintaan pelanggan. PT. “J” merupakan perusahaan yang berfokus pada celup kain. PT. “J” menggunakan mesin jet dyeing sebagai mesin utama dalam tahap pencelupan. Pengeluaran biaya perawatan yang tinggi menjadi masalah utama pada proses maintenance mesin jet dyeing di PT. “J”. Mesin jet dyeing Athena4 merupakan mesin multiflow yang memiliki 2 subsistem identik tersusun paralel. Setiap subsistem memiliki beberapa komponen yang tersusun seri. Sebagai bentuk evaluasi dari permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan penelitian analisis reliabilitas dan availabilitas pada jet dyeing machine di PT. “J” menggunakan analisis markov. Sistem komponen pada mesin jet dyeing di PT. “J” memiliki kondisi yang dependen, sehingga penentuan availabilitas dan reliabilitas dapat menggunakan metode markov dengan menentukan probabilitas sistem menggunakan pendekatan diferensial untuk kondisi steady state dan metode numerik Runge-Kutta untuk transient state. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan interval perawatan mesin jet dyeing setiap 866 jam (36 hari) sekali sebagai waktu optimal yang dapat meminimumkan biaya perawatan sistem. Selain itu agar kinerja setiap subsistem meningkat, komponen Pump (P1) dan Heat (H2) harus diberi prioritas utama dalam hal maintenance. Sebab perubahan laju kerusakan kedua subsistem memberikan perubahan yang signifikan terhadap availabilitas dan reliabilitas sistem.

The textile industry which is a booster of the country's economic growth, has experienced many changes especially in increased automation and new technologies adoption. This requires PT. "J" as a fabric dyeing company in West Java to focus on increasing the reliability and availability of operations in order to remain competitive and fulfill customer’s demand. PT. “J” is a company who focuses on dyeing textile.They use jet dyeing machine as a primary machine in dyeing process. The high cost of maintenance became the main problem in their maintenance activity. Athena4 jet dyeing machine is a multiflow machine which obtained 2 identical parallel subsystems. Each subsystem arranged of 5 serial main components. As a form of evaluation to these problems, research on reliability and availability analysis was carried out on jet dyeing machines at PT. "J" using markov analysis. Component systems on jet dyeing machines at PT. "J" has dependent conditions, so that the determination of availability and reliability can use the markov method by determining system probabilities using differential approach for steady state conditions and the Runge-Kutta numerical method for transient state. This study generates that the optimal maintenance interval time for jet dyeing machine is on 866 hours (36 days) to minimize the cost. Furthermore, to increase the system’s performance, Pump (P1) component in subsystem 1 and Heat (H2) component in subsystem 2 should be the priority of maintenance activity. It’s because their change of failure rates affects significantly on subsystem’s availability and reliability.
