Abstract

PT. Linde Gresik yang merupakan perusahaan pemasok gas bumi akan melakukan perubahan konfigurasi sumber pembangkit karena adanya pengembangan sistem kelistrikan guna mengakomodasi pertumbuhan permintaan oleh PT. Smelting Indonesia. Dengan adanya perubahan konfigurasi sumber pembangkit, sistem proteksi pada PT. Linde Gresik dirasa perlu untuk dievaluasi kembali. Oleh karena itu, pada tugas akhir ini akan dibahas mengenai evaluasi sistem proteksi akibat perubahan konfigurasi sumber pembangkit PT. Linde Gresik agar menghasilkan sistem proteksi yang baik dan akan menjaga kontinuitas suplai listrik serta mengoptimalkan seluruh proses produksi. Koordinasi proteksi yang dievaluasi adalah rele arus lebih untuk gangguan fasa dan rele termal. Setting koordinasi proteksi pada PT. Linde Gresik ini perlu memperhatikan nilai arus dan waktu dalam keadaan normal dan dalam keadaan gangguan kelistrikan. Pada tugas akhir ini akan dilakukan resetting koordinasi proteksi pada sisi beban, bus utama, dan sumber pembangkitnya. Hasil koordinasi proteksi setelah dilakukan resetting dapat melindungi peralatan dari gangguan beban lebih dan gangguan hubung singkat baik tiga fasa maupun antar fasa. Selain dapat melindungi dari berbagai gangguan yang muncul, hasil resetting koordinasi proteksi ini dapat melindungi peralatan kelistrikan utama seperti motor, transformator, dan generator.

PT. Linde Gresik, which is a natural gas supply company, will make changes to the configuration of the generator source due to the development of the electrical system to accommodate the growing demand by PT. Indonesian Smelting. With the change in the configuration of the generator source, the protection system at PT. Linde Gresik felt the need to be re-evaluated. Therefore, in this final project, we will discuss the evaluation of the protection system due to changes in the configuration of PT. Linde Gresik in order to produce a good protection system that will maintain the continuity of electricity supply and optimize the entire production process. The evaluated protection coordination is overcurrent relay for phase fault and thermal relay. Protection coordination settings at PT. Linde Gresik needs to pay attention to the current and time values under normal conditions and in a state of electrical disturbance. In this final project, the protection coordination resetting will be carried out on the load side, the main bus, and the generator source. The results of the protection coordination after resetting can protect the equipment from overload and short circuit disturbances, both three-phase and inter-phase. Besides being able to protect from various disturbances that arise, the results of resetting this protection coordination can protect main electrical equipment such as motors, transformers, and generators.
