Abstract
Perencanaan dan pengendalian persediaan suku cadang di Industri manufaktur termasuk Industri kereta api merupakan kegiatan penting yang dilakukan oleh manajer persediaan. Dalam studi kasus di PT Industri Kereta Api (Persero), insiden tidak tersedia stok terutama suku cadang dalam kategori bogie sering terjadi dan secara signifikan mempengaruhi program pemeliharaan. Untuk itu diperlukan penjadwalan penggantian suku cadang untuk mencegah terhentinya kereta. Analisis ketersediaan (availability) dan keandalan (reliability) suku cadang bogie dengan pendekatan nilai Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) juga Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) adalah metode yang dipilih sebagai acuan dalam menetapkan jadwal penggantian spare parts bogie kereta. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan pengendalian persediaan suku cadang Bogie selama 3 tahun untuk suku cadang yang tidak dapat di perbaiki didapatkan nilai Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) 84 hari. Untuk suku cadang yang dapat diperbaiki didapatkan nilai Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) 72 hari dan Mean Time to Repaire (MTTR) 6 jam. Perubahan penjadwalan penggantian suku cadang tidak dapat diperbaiki dilakukan dengan interval waktu 1.5 bulan, 2 bulan, 3 bulan dan 4 bulan sekali sesuai jenis komponennya. Dan penjadwalan penggantian suku cadang yang dapat diperbaiki dengan interval waktu 1.5 bulan, 2 bulan, 3 bulan. Hasil penerapan tindakan pengendalian persediaan rata-rata 96% sehingga suku cadang bekerja secara optimal.

Planning and controlling spare parts inventory in the manufacturing industry, including the railway industry, is an important activity carried out by inventory managers. In a case study at PT Industri Kereta Api (Persero), stock unavailability incidents especially in bogies spare-part categories, often occur and significantly affect the maintenance program. For this reason, it is necessary to schedule replacement parts to prevent train stops. Analysis of the availability and reliability of bogie parts with the Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) value approach as well as Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) is the method chosen as a reference in determining the replacement schedule of train bogie spare- parts. Based on the calculation of inventory control of Bogie parts for 3 years for parts that cannot be repaired, a Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) value of 84 days is obtained. For repairable spare-parts, the value of Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) 72 days and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) 6 hours are obtained. Changes in the replacement scheduling of non-repairable parts are carried out at intervals of 1.5 months, 2 months, 3 months and 4 months according to the type of component. Furthermore, scheduling replacement parts that also can be repaired at intervals of 1.5 months, 2 months, and 3 months. The results of implementing inventory control measures average 96% so that spareparts work optimally.
