Abstract

Along with economic growth speed and also development in all area also the function of Barito bridge in Batola regency of South Kalimantan, road-works Marabahan-Margasari is one of alternative or way out of vehicles at main band in Municipality of Banjarmasin which in this time there is just one main road. Otherswise, the aim of the opening of this band is to cut short the travelled distance and also race the economic growth in Barito regency and Tapin regency of South Kalimantan. Particularly again, at this band there are route of coal delivery, so that if distance from factory location to shorter delivery place, hence delivery productivity will increase. It is require to be done study of Marabahan-Margasari road which evaluated from technical and economic aspect, and then conducted an analysis for the cost which released against to benefit obtained by Benefit Cost Ratio ( BCR) to know it is profiting or not. Technical aspect including the trase road which proposed by goodness geometrik, alinyemen, and route and also LHR estimation which enter at new road. Economic aspect including the released cost like as cost of land, cost of construction and conservation. Benefit to be obtained by thrift BOK and assess the time of vehicles, cost-saving of transportation of vehicles and increasing of coal delivery volume. Result of study showed, pursuant to Analysis of Cost and Benefit, that
road-works of Marabahan-Margasari of Province of South Kalimantan is very beneficial, because the benefit which obtained with the released cost by B/C = 2,15 > 1 (indirect benefit) and B/C = 5,55 > l (direct benefit) have fulfilled the specified conditions.
