Abstract

Di era yang berkembang ini, koperasi di Indonesia semakin meningkat. Menurut data dari Kementerian Koperasi dan UKM, terdapat kenaikan sebesar 17,4 persen jumlah unit koperasi dari tahun 2009 yang tercatat sebanyak 170.411 unit menjadi 200.808 unit pada Juli 2013. Hal ini mengingat bahwa koperasi juga berperan dalam meningkatkan perekonomian di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, penjagaan kualitas terhadap koperasi perlu dipertahankan, salah satunya dengan mengukur tingkat kesehatan koperasi, agar pihak manajemen khususnya manajer akunting dapat membuat keputusan terkait dengan langkah-langkah yang harus diambil sehingga proses bisnis koperasi dapat berjalan dengan baik. Untuk mengetahui kesehatan dari setiap koperasi, maka perlu dilakukan analisis hasil neraca keuangan koperasi. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur kesehatan koperasi adalah dengan menggunakan metode PEARLS yang juga diterapkan oleh Pusat Koperasi Kredit Jawa Timur Barat (Puskopdit Jatimbar). Namun, selama ini Puskopdit Jatimbar mas ih melakukan analisis dengan Microsoft Excel. Karena itulah, untuk memudahkan manajer akunting meninjau kesehatan koperasinya, maka akan dibuat sebuah sistem informasi untuk mengukur tingkat kesehatan koperasi berbasis website yang dapat diakses kapan saja dan dimana saja.

In this era of globalization, cooperatives in Indonesia has increased. According to the data from the Ministry of Cooperations and SME, there is an increase of 17.4% , there were 170.411 units in 2009 to 200.808 units in July 2013. It means, cooperation also has a role in improving Indonesia’s economy. Therefore, the quality of cooperation’s maintenance needs to be maintenaned, by measuring the level of cooperation’s health, so the accounting management managers can make decisions related to the current conditions so the cooperation business processes can be run well. To determine the healt of cooperation, it is necessary to analyze the results of the cooperation’s balance sheet with PEARLS method. This method was carried out by Pusat Koperasi Kredit Jawa Tmur Barat (Puskopdit Jatimbar). However, Puskopdit Jatimbar still using Microsoft Excel to do the calculation. Therefore, to facilitate the review of cooperation health by ccounting manager, it is necessary to built an information system which can calculate the level of cooperation health.
