Abstract

Ships stability is the ability to ship back to the original position after the style of foreign eliminated, so that stability needs to analyzed for each ship before sailing. Stability analysis can be done when the ship's weight and center of gravity was known. In the analysis center of gravity and total weight of ship can be done with the Equipment Numeral method or post per post method The calculation's result of weight and center of gravity ships with Equipment Numeral method are inaccurate because it is only use the size of the main approach. If using the calculation method of post per post, the results are enough to represent the condition of vessels, because the error 's value is small, but it ta/ces a relatively long time. Therefore, the new method should be used to calculate the weight and center of gravity and stability analysis of ships that do not require a long time, the current level of accuracy, can be used for the design and operate the ship, have a small/eve/ of error. One method that can be used is a method of analysis of stability with the original form of the condition of trim I draft's ships. This method can be used in the design stage and at the timeof ships in operation, without a lot of time and the results that have a value of e"or is small. Analysis of weight and center of gravity ships if this is done on the ship will be effictive on the barge in condition trim angle ship 1. 7Y' to 2.25", because in this conditions error's value of less than 1%.
