Abstract

Adanya potensi pergerakan penduduk dari daerah pemukiman ke pusat-pusat aktifitas kota harus ditunjang oleh sarana dan prasarana transportasi yang memadai. Mobilitas tersebut dapat mempengaruhi sektor pendidikan, perdagangan, dan kegiatan lainnya. Penyediaan angkutan kota tersebut berkaitan dengan lokasi tujuan pergerakan sedangkan jumlahnya tergantung pada perkembangan penduduk yang bergerak. Permasalahan tersebut mendasari Tugas Akhir ini yang bertujuan menganalisa pergerakan penumpang pada saat sekarang ini dalam bentuk Matriks Asal Tujuan (M.A.I). Sebagai dasar prediksi M.A.T tahun 2014 dengan menggunakan Metode Furness. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan survey, baik survey asal tujuan penumpang yang dilakukan dengan mencatat naik turun dilaksanakan pada lokasi tertentu dengan mencatat jumlah kendaraan angkutan kota dan jumlah penumpang yang lewat perjam. Survey occupancy ini dilakukan mulai pukul 06.00 sampai dengan pukul 18.00. Hasil yang diperoleh dari M.A.T tahun 2009 kemudian digunakan untuk analisa pembebanan tiap ruas sebagai dasar perhitungan kebutuhan armada angkutan kota pada tahun 2014 dan menganalisa kinerja armada angkutan kota tersebut

The potential for population movement from residential areas to city activity centers must be supported by adequate transportation facilities and infrastructure. This mobility can affect the education sector, trade and other activities. The provision of city transportation is related to the location of the movement destination, while the amount depends on the development of the moving population. This problem underlies this final assignment which aims to analyze current passenger movements in the form of an Origin Destination Matrix (M.A.I). As a basis for M.A.T predictions in 2014 using the Furness Method. For this reason, surveys need to be carried out, including surveys of passengers' origins and destinations, which are carried out by recording boarding and descending, carried out at certain locations by recording the number of city transport vehicles and the number of passengers passing by per hour. This occupancy survey was carried out from 06.00 to 18.00. The results obtained from M.A.T in 2009 were then used to analyze the loading of each section as a basis for calculating the needs of the city transport fleet in 2014 and analyzing the performance of the city transport fleet
