Abstract

Penelitian tentang sistem gunung lumpur di Jawa Timur sudah banyak dilakukan, seperti Lumpur Sidoarjo, Gunung Anyar, Bledug Kuwu, dan lainnya. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengukuran data gaya berat, magnetik, dan mikrotremor untuk mengetahui struktur bawah permukaan di sekitar gunung lumpur TRP. Adanya semburan lumpur yang terjadi di area penelitian masih sedikit diteliti. Pendugaan struktur bawah permukaan dalam geofisika dapat diteliti dengan beberapa metode, diantaranya adalah metode gaya berat, magnetik, dan mikrotremor. Data gaya berat dan magnetik dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif hingga menghasilkan model bawah permukaan berdasarkan geologi regional. Kemudian, data mikrotremor dianalisis secara kualitatif untuk mendukung hasil interpretasi gaya berat dan magnetik. Secara kualitatif, pola anomali gaya berat menunjukkan pola melingkar menyerupai pola anomali magnetik, dimana titik lumpur ditemukan berada di zona anomali sedang pada peta anomali di selatan daerah penelitian. Model bawah permukaan diduga sebagai antiklin berdasarkan profil sayatan pada peta geologi regional daerah penelitian. Berdasarkan model bawah permukaan, struktur daerah penelitian merupakan antiklin dengan litologi penyusun berupa breksi vulkanik (Formasi Breksi Pandan), napal dan batupasir tufan (Formasi Kalibeng), batupasir dan batulempung (Formasi Kerek). Data mikrotremor yang hanya diinterpretasi secara kualitatif, nampaknya kurang mendukung dalam analisis struktur dalam penelitian ini. Namun, secara kualitatif, data mikrotremor menunjukkan bahwa daerah penelitian memiliki rata-rata nilai amplifikasi rendah yang berasosiasi dengan litologi penyusun daerah penelitian yaitu breksi vulkanik.

Many studies have been carried out on the mud volcano system in East Java, such as the Sidoarjo Mud, Gunung Anyar, Bledug Kuwu, and others. In this study, measurements of gravity, magnetic, and microtremor data were carried out to determine the subsurface structure around the TRP mud volcano. The existence of a mudflow that occurs in the research area is still little researched. Estimation of subsurface structures in geophysics can be investigated by several methods, including gravity, magnetic, and microtremor methods. Gravity and magnetic data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively to produce subsurface models based on regional geology. Then, the microtremor data were analyzed qualitatively to support the interpretation of gravity and magnetic. Qualitatively, the gravity anomaly pattern shows a circular pattern resembling a magnetic anomaly pattern, where the mud spots are found in the moderate anomaly zone on the anomaly map in the south of the study area. The subsurface model is suspected to be an anticline based on the incision profile on the regional geological map of the study area. Based on the subsurface model, the structure of the study area is an anticline with the constituent lithology of volcanic breccia (Pandan Breccia Formation), marl and tuffaceous sandstone (Kalibeng Formation), sandstone and claystone (Kerek Formation). Microtremor data which is only interpreted qualitatively, does not seem to support the structural analysis in this study. However, qualitatively, microtremor data shows that the study area has a low average amplification value associated with the lithology that composes the study area, namely volcanic breccia.
