Abstract

Balikpapan merupakan salah satu kota kecil di propinsi Kalimantan Timur yang terus berkembang, termasuk daerah hunian dan fasilitas fasilitas pendukungnya. Namun sayangnva perkembangan daerah hunian dan fasilitas-fasilitas pendukungnya tersebut tidak diimbangi dengan penataan yang tepat. Banyak penduduk membangun pemukiman di daerah daerah yang semestinya tidak boleh dibangun pemukiman, seperti halnya daerah bantaran sungai dan tempat-tempat yang sebelumnya dimanfaatkan sebagai daerah resapan air. Hal tersebut yang menjadi salah satu sebab terjadinya banjir. Salah satu cara untuk menanggulangi banjir tersebut , maka dibangun suatu Bendungan Pengendali Banjir ( Bendali ). Salah satu komponen yang paling penting dalam suatu waduk adalah Spillway. Spillway merupakan suatu bangunan pelimpah yang berfungsi melimpahkan kelebihan air dari debit yang akan dibuang sehingga kapasitas waduk dapat dipertahankan sampai batas maksimal. Dalam suatu perencanaan Spillway dan Main Dam diperlukan pertimbangan dan perhitungan perhitungan sehingga didapatkan suatu desain yang effisien. Tipe Spillway pada Bendali Perhubungan ini direncanakan menggunakan tipe Spillway yang biasa dipakai pada bendungan tipe urugan yaitu pelimpah bebas mercu ogee . Dari hasil perhitungan perencanaan dengan menggunakan debit rencana 50 tahun (O5stth) didapatkan dimensi Spillway dengan lebar sebesar 10 meter, elevasi puncak Spillway lerletak pada + 15, 91 dengan dasar waduk terletak pada + 12,5, untuk lebar Tubuh Bendung sebesar 3,32 meter, elevasi puncak Tubuh Bendung terletak pada + 17, 91. Untuk perencanaan kolam olak dipakai kolam olak USBR tipe I dengan panjang kolam olak sebesar 5 meter Dari perencanaan yang sudah menghasilkan dimensi Spillway dan Main Dam, kemudian dilakukan perhitungan stabilitas yang meliputi kestabilan terhadap guling dan geser. Perhitungan kestabilan dihitung pada saat kondisi paling kritis, yaitu pada saat kondisi muka air setinggi puncak Spillway dan pada saat kondisi muka air setinggi debit rencana. Dari hasil perhitungan kestabilan didapat kesimpulan bahwa kestabilan Spillway dan Main Dam memenuhi syarat sehingga tidak memerlukan perkuatan

Balikpapan is one of the small cities in East Kalimantan province which continues to develop, including residential areas and supporting facilities. However, unfortunately the development of residential areas and supporting facilities is not balanced with proper planning. Many residents build settlements in areas where settlements should not be built, such as riverbank areas and places previously used as water catchment areas. This is one of the causes of flooding. One way to deal with these floods is to build a Flood Control Dam (Bendali). One of the most important components in a reservoir is the spillway. A spillway is an overflow structure whose function is to transfer excess water from the discharge to be discharged so that the reservoir capacity can be maintained to the maximum limit. In planning a Spillway and Main Dam, considerations and calculations are needed to obtain an efficient design. Spillway type at Bendali This transportation is planned to use the type of spillway that is usually used in fill type dams, namely the ogee free spillway. From the results of planning calculations using the 50 year plan discharge (O5stth), the dimensions of the Spillway are 10 meters wide, the elevation of the Spillway peak is located at + 15.91 with the base of the reservoir located at + 12.5, for the width of the Weir Body is 3.32 meters , the elevation of the top of the Weir Body is located at + 17.91. For the design of the stilling pool, a USBR type I stilling pool is used with a stilling pool length of 5 meters. From the planning that has produced the dimensions of the Spillway and Main Dam, stability calculations are then carried out which include stability against overturning and shift. Stability calculations are calculated during the most critical conditions, namely when the water level is as high as the top of the Spillway and when the water level is as high as the design discharge. From the results of stability calculations, it was concluded that the stability of the Spillway and Main Dam met the requirements so that it did not require strengthening
