Abstract

The rapid growth of information technology has significantly impacted various aspects of human life, with Indonesia experiencing remarkable internet usage growth in the last five years. Freelancing has become popular, particularly through platforms like Fiverr, linking freelancers globally. Despite its popularity, Fiverr faces user experience challenges, such as profile verification difficulties and issues finding suitable and trusted sellers. To address these concerns, the study employs User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) and Enhanced Cognitive Walkthrough (ECW) methodologies. The findings inform recommendations for website improvements, including modifications to the Sign-Up option, service grouping, and filter placement. Post-design adjustments, user testing revealed reduced failure frequencies and severity in ECW matrices, indicating improved usability. UEQ results confirmed enhanced ease of use and learnability for novice users with the modified designs. These insights offer valuable recommendations for optimizing the Fiverr website's user experience.
