Abstract

Tingginya angka kejadian kanker payudara menjadikan beban usaha dan biaya tinggi dalam penyelenggaraan kesehatan, sehingga untuk menurunkan kejadian kanker payudara, penderita melakukan terapi untuk penyembuhan penyakitnya. Salah satu pengobatankanker payudara adalah kemoterapi. Kemoterapi merupakan proses pengobatan dengan menggunakan obat-obatan yang bertujuan untuk menghancurkan atau memperlambat pertumbuhan sel-sel kanker. Penilaian keberhasilan kemoterapi yang paling mudah adalah dengan mengamati pemberian kemoterapi pada pasien kanker payudara yang mendapat terapi secara neoadjuvant. Dikenal beberapa faktor yang diduga akan mempengaruhi keberhasilan terapi tersebut.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh faktor-faktor yang diduga tersebut dalam keberhasilan terapi neoadjuvant dengan menggunakan regresi logistik ordinal. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa stadium pasienberpengaruh signifikan (α=30%) terhadap tingkat keberhasilan pemberian kemoterapi.

The high incidence of breast cancer makes operating expenses and higher costs in the administration of health, so as to decrease the incidence of breast cancer, patients do therapy to cure the disease. One of the breast cancer treatment is chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is a treatment process using drugs that aim to destroy or slow the growth of cancer cells. The most convenient way to asses the efficacy of chemotherapy is to observe the chemotherapy process in breast cancer patients who received neoadjuvant therapy. Known for some of the factors that are expected to affect the success of the therapy. This study aims to determine the influence of factorsin the success of the suspected neoadjuvant therapy using ordinal logistic regression. The analysis showed that stage patients have a significant effect (α=30%) on the success rate of chemotherapy.
