Abstract
Persaingan pada pasar produksi baja lapis warna semakin ketat di global dan secara khusus di Indonesia karena banyakya produk impor yang lebih murah, bervariasi dan mudah untuk di didapatkan mendorong salah satu perusahaan baja lapis warna di indonesia untuk bisa meningkatkan efektifitas dan efisiensi dalam memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen sehingga bisa bersaing dengan semua produk yang ada di pasar baik dalam maupun luar negeri. Output produksi menjadi tantangan utama yang karena berdampak kepada waktu tunggu konsumen. Karena loss time yang terjadi dalam menjalankan produksi. Konsep lean manufacturing dengan SMED (Single Minutes Exchange of Dies) dengan kombinasi root cause analisis menggunakan fishbone diagram menghasilkan pekerjaan internal yang mempunyai added value, dilanjutkan dengan metode sphagetti Diagram untuk menganalisa pemborosan pada pergerakan dan perpindahan operator dalam melakukan aktifitas dan metode swimlane process map untuk menganalisa pemborosan waktu tunggu. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor terbesar penyebab output produksi rendah disebabkan proses transisi, dengan analisa konsep lean dan menghasilkan rencana tindakan diantaranya dengan memisahkan kegiatan internal dan eksternal, proses automatisasi pada pembersihan roll, modifikasi beberapa item isolasi di satu poin, perubahan lay out pada ruangan coater, multiskill operator, pembagian serta perbaikan kordinasi pekerjaan sehingga bisa mengurangi waktu transisi 69% sehingga bisa menambah output produksi dari 3,844 Ton/Bulan menjadi 4,188.8 Ton/Bulan atau meningkat 8.9%. sehingga dari hasil ini bahwa konsep lean manufacturing dengan SMED dan analisa dengan RCA diikuti analisa metode Spaghetti diagram dan Swimlane process map dapat meningkatkan efisiensi perusahaan.

Competition in the colour coated steel production market is getting tighter globally and specifically in Indonesia because many imported products are cheaper, more varied, and easier to obtain, encouraging one of the color coated steel companies in Indonesia to be able to increase effectiveness and efficiency in meeting consumer needs so that they can compete with all existing products in the market both domestic and foreign. Production output is the main challenge because it impacts consumer waiting times. Because of the loss time that occurs in running production. The lean manufacturing concept with SMED (Single Minutes Exchange of Dies) with a combination of root cause analysis using fishbone diagrams produces internal work that has added value, followed by the spaghetti diagram method to analyse waste in operator movements and movements in carrying out activities and the swimlane process map method for analysing wasted waiting time due to coordination between and between parts that are not well connected. The combination of several methods is expected to have a positive impact in increasing production output. The results of this research show that the biggest factor causing low production output is due to the transition process, by analysing the lean concept and producing an action plan, including separating internal and external activities, automating the roll cleaning process, modifying several isolation items at one point, changing the layout at coater room, multiskilled operators, division and improvement of work coordination so as to reduce transition time by 69% so as to increase production output from 3,844 tons/month to 4,188.8 tons/month or an increase of 8.9%. So, from these results the lean manufacturing concept with SMED and analysis with RCA followed by Spaghetti diagram and Swimlane process map method analysis can increase company efficiency.
