Abstract

Penggunaan alat cor sistem luang biasa dalam proses pengecoran logam pada proses produksi aksesoris cincin, sepertinya masih kurang efisien dalam kaitannya dengan waktu serta hasil produk pengecoran. Untuk mengatasi situasi ini. di buatlah modifikasi dari alat cor sistem luang biasa serta mendesain ulang dari alat sebelumnya menjadi mesin cor sentrifugal dengan 2 cetakan .. Dalam mendesain ulang dan pembuatan mesin cor sentrifugal dengan 2 cetakan, dilakukan perhitungan daya mesin yang dibutuhkan serta melakukan perhittmgan dimensi belt, pulley, poros, bantalan dan pasak. Sehingga alat ini mampu meminimalkan cacat pada produk hasil pengecoran. Daya yang direncanakan sebesar 0,25Hp dengan spesifikasi belt type A dengan panjang 1016 mm,menggunakan dua buah pulley bertingkat 3, diameter pulley penggerak 50 mm, 60 mm, 75 mm dan pulley yang digerakkan 150 mm, 175 mm. 200 mm.

Applied machine of casting system. usual in metal casting process at ring accesories production process, so be efficientless in relationship with time and casting production yield. To solve this situation, so to make modification from usual casting system and to redesign from last machine become sentrifugal casting machine with 2 dies In redesign process of centrifugal casting machine will calculating centrifugal force to puss and compressed metal liquid in mold. Previously, calculate dimension of belt, pulley, shaft. bearing and pin. Until casting machine capable to minimize deflect in the product. Design of power is 0,25 HP with A type belt spesification and lenght is 1016 mm, using 2 pulleys with 3 storied, mover pulley diameter is 50 mm. 60 mm, 75 mm and pulley that moved is 150 mm, 175 mm, 200 mm.
