Abstract

Sheraton sebagai fasilitas untuk pendukung dari ragam fasilitas hotel Sheraton Surabaya untuk masyarakat metropolis kalangan menengah atas yang terus berkembang, dengan perubahan teknologi seperti prasarana teknologi tanpa kabel ICT (WiFi). Hasil metode pengamatan baik langsung atau tidak, terdapat perubahan ketertarikan konsumen masyarakat metropolis yang dipengaruhi perkembangan jaman, dengan masyarakat metropolis beberapa tahun sebelumnya . Perbedaan itu nampak pada kebutuhan fasilitas dan suasana interior yang ditawarkan pada sebuah kafe. Tema redesain interior kafe Bromo adalah menggabungkan Image Teknology, dengan interior modem yaitu interior yang mencerminkan masyarakat metropolis. Penerapan tema teknologi terbagi dua, yaitu sebagai fasilitas tambahan seperti ICT (WiFi ) dan sistem penataan layout. Hasil akhir yang ingin dicapai mengekspresikan kebutuhan konsumen terhadap fasilitas WiFi yang terus berkembang, sesuai dengan karakteristik pola pikir yang modem. Sehingga tema dan konsep “image teknologi’* memberikan tampilan desain yang baru pada Kafe Bromo, sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan menjawab keinginan konsumen

Sheraton as a facility to support the variety of Sheraton Surabaya hotel facilities for the upper middle class metropolis community which continues to grow, with technological changes such as wireless ICT (WiFi) technology infrastructure. The results of the observation method, whether direct or indirect, show changes in the interest of consumers in metropolitan communities which are influenced by developments over time, with metropolitan communities in previous years. This difference can be seen in the facility requirements and interior atmosphere offered in a cafe. The theme of Bromo cafe's interior redesign is to combine Image Technology with a modern interior, namely an interior that reflects metropolis society. The application of the technology theme is divided into two, namely as additional facilities such as ICT (WiFi) and layout arrangement systems. The final results to be achieved express consumer needs for WiFi facilities that continue to develop, in accordance with the characteristics of a modern mindset. So the theme and concept of "image technology'* gives a new design appearance to the Bromo Cafe, in accordance with the needs and answering the desires of consumers
