Abstract

PT. PMP memiliki kerjasama dengan mitra luar negeri untuk pembangunan pabrik baru untuk Final assembly dan pengujian peluru kendali di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan rekomendasi tata letak pabrik yang tepat. Untuk itu penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) dengan tambahan kriteria tambahan dalam penentuan kedekatan yang diintegrasikan dengan software Blocplan. Perancangan tata letak yang dihasilkan tentunya perlu dilakukan modifikasi berdasarkan batasan secara praktis dan pertimbangan modifikasi, sehingga didapatkan dua alternatif layout. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisa perbandingan, dimana alternative layout 2 dipilih menjadi layout terbaik berdasarkan total momen jarak perpindahan yang lebih pendek yaitu sebesar 308 meter, total ongkos material handling yang lebih murah sebesar Rp. 15.437,97 dan Remaining space yang lebih besar yaitu sebesar 293,4 meter persegi. Selain itu dengan adanya ramalan permintaan yang ditentukan, maka perlunya peningkatan kapasitas produksi yang berdasarkan alternative layout 2, sehingga akan memperluas area workshop utama sebesar 660 meter persegi. Sebagai tambahan, untuk proses pembongkaran dan perakitan peluru kendali, perlunya perancangan proses dan peralatan berupa perancangan toolbox yang bertujuan agar memudahkan proses pembongkaran dan perakitan.

PT. PMP has collaborated with foreign partners to build a new factory for the final assembly and testing of guided missiles in Indonesia. This research aims to provide recommendations for appropriate factory layout. For this reason, this research uses the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method with additional criteria in determining proximity which is integrated with Blocplan software. The resulting layout design must be modified based on practical limitations and modification considerations so that two alternative layouts are obtained. Next, a comparative analysis was carried out, where alternative layout 2 was chosen to be the best layout based on the shorter total moment of movement distance of 308 meters, and total material handling costs which were cheaper at Rp. 15,437.97 and the Remaining space which is larger, namely 293.4 square meters. Apart from that, with the demand forecast determined, it is necessary to increase production capacity based on alternative layout 2 to expand the main workshop area by 660 square meters. In addition, for disassembling and assembling missiles, it is necessary to design processes and equipment in the form of toolbox design which aims to facilitate the disassembly and assembly process.
