Abstract

Garam Cap Kapal merupakan produk dari PT. Susanti Megah. Pada dasamya garam cap kapal adalah garam yang mempunyai kualitas tinggi, sehingga PT. Susanti Megah harus dapat meningkatkan atau mempertahankan kualitas dari produknya agar dapat tetap bersaing di pasar. Sehingga dalam bersaing perusahaan harus memiliki harga yang rendah tetapi kualitas tetap baik. Namun pada kenyataannya proses produksi garam pada PT. Susanti Megah banyak terjadi waste, sehingga dapat menurunkan kualitas serta dapat menurunkan profit margin. Berdasarkan fakta tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan penelitian ini yang bertujuan untuk menganalisa dan melakukan peningkatan kualitas produksi garam dengan pendekatan Lean Six Sigma serta menggunakan metode FMEA untuk mengetahui kegagalan yang terjadi. Sehingga diperoleh beberapa altematif terbaik yang disinyalir dapat menurunkan waste. Dengan altematif tersebut dapat meningkatkan performansi, sehingga value dapat meningkat dibandingkan dengan value kondisi perusahaan saat ini. Sehingga dapat menghemat biaya kegagalan yang terjadi

Ship Cap Salt is a product of PT. Susanti Megah. Basically, ship's stamp salt is salt that has high quality, so PT. Susanti Megah must be able to improve or maintain the quality of its products in order to remain competitive in the market. So, in order to compete, companies must have low prices but still have good quality. However, in reality the salt production process at PT. Susanti Megah has a lot of waste, which can reduce quality and reduce profit margins. Based on these facts, it is necessary to carry out this research which aims to analyze and improve the quality of salt production using the Lean Six Sigma approach and using the FMEA method to determine failures that occur. So that several of the best alternatives are obtained which are said to be able to reduce waste. This alternative can improve performance, so that value can increase compared to the value of the company's current condition. So it can save costs from failures that occur
