Abstract

Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) adalah aset perusahaan yang paling berharga, karena digunakan dalam setiap aspek organisasi ataupun perusahaan. Kinerja dan Disiplin yang tinggi merupakan tanda bahwa Sumber Daya Manusia dinilai berkualitas. Kinerja karyawan berkaitan dengan Kompensasi yang diterima maupun Pengembangan Karir dalam melatih kemampuan diri di Perusahaan. Penelitian ini diambil karena adanya kendala di PT. Kencar Sukses Investama dalam mengekspansi mesin secara besar dari tahun 2011 hingga 2022. Namun terdapat kompensasi kerja yang dirasa tidak adil yang diterima karyawan sehingga berpengaruh terhadap pengembangan karir, disiplin kerja dan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan sampel karyawan di PT. Kencar Sukses Investama sejumlah 151 karyawan. Karyawan dipilih karena memiliki pola pikir yang luas dan pengalaman yang berkaitan dengan kinerja kerja dan disiplin kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dengan teknik sampel purposive sample dengan alat analisis SEM PLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Kompensasi memberikan pengaruh secara tidak signifikan terhadap Disiplin Kerja dan Kinerja. Ditemukan juga bahwa Pengembangan Karir memberikan pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Disiplin dan Kinerja. Kemudian ditemukan bahwa Disiplin Kerja tidak berperan dalam memediasi pengaruh Kompensasi dan Pengembangan karir terhadap Kinerja.

Human Resources (HR) is the company's most valuable asset, because it is used in every aspect of an organization or company. High performance and discipline is a sign that human resources are considered to be of high quality. Employee performance is related to the Compensation received as well as Career Development in training self-ability in the Company. This research was taken because of the constraints at PT. Kencar Sukses Investama is expanding the engine on a large scale from 2011 to 2022. However, there is work compensation that is felt to be unfair to employees which affects career development, work discipline and employee performance. This research was conducted using a sample of employees at PT. Kencar Sukses Investama has 151 employees. Employees are selected because they have a broad mindset and experience related to work performance and work discipline. This study used a quantitative method, with a purposive sample technique using the PLS SEM analysis tool. The results of this study indicate that compensation has no significant effect on work discipline and performance. It was also found that Career Development has a significant effect on Discipline and Performance. Then it was found that Work Discipline did not play a role in mediating the influence of Compensation and Career Development on Performance.
