Abstract

Baterai Li-ion merupakan jenis baterai yang kepopulerannya semakin meningkat, ditandai dengan pemakaian pada sebagian besar peralatan listrik seperti kendaraan listrik. Demi mengetahui karakteristik serta permasalahan apa saja pada baterai, dibuatlah pemodelan agar memudahkan proses tersebut. Model baterai terdiri dari elektrokimia (electrochemical), electrothermal, dan ECM (Equivalent Circuit Model). Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan simulasi model battery pack guna mengetahui pengaruh hubung singkat terhadap kondisi battery pack serta melakukan percobaan charge serta discharge (C-rate) baterai sebagai pembanding kondisi baterai saat normal. Model baterai disusun serta disimulasikan menggunakan software MATLAB, dengan memanfaatkan model baterai yang tersedia. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan bisa menjadi referensi penelitian selanjutnya mengenai pemodelan baterai Li-ion menggunakan model di MATLAB.

Li-ion battery is a type of battery whose popularity is increasing, marked by its use in most electric equipment such as electric vehicles. In order to know the characteristics and problems with the battery, modeling is made to facilitate the process. The battery model consists of electrochemical, electrothermal, and ECM (Equivalent Circuit Model). In this research, a simulation ofthe battery pack model will be carried out to determine the effect ofa short circuit on the condition of the battery pack and to compare normal battery condition versus abnormal one, by conducting charge and discharge simulation (C-rate). MATLAB was used to build and simulate battery model, while using battery models that are avaible in MATLAB. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for further research on modeling Li-ion batteries using models in MATLAB.
