Abstract

Untuk mendapatkan keandalan hasil produksi, dibutuhkan sistem tenaga listrik yang baik. PT Badak NGL adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang pengolahan gas alam menjadi gas alam cair. Pada proses pengolahan gas alam tersebut, dibutuhkan sistem kelistrikan yang terus-menerus dengan kualitas yang baik guna menjaga kontinuitas daya listrik yang disalurkan menuju pabrik dan mengurangi dampak negatif jika terjadi gangguan. Salah satu gangguan yang dapat terjadi dalam sistem kelistrikan yaitu gangguan hubung singkat. Adapun hal yang akan dilakukan pada penelitian tugas akhir ini adalah menentukan setting koordinasi overcurrent relay yang tepat berdasarkan simulasi single line diagram menggunakan software ETAP 12.6.0. Dari simulasi tersebut didapatkan analisis short circuit pada sistem kelistrikan feeder community 28 PT BADAK NGL serta mengetahui respon koordinasi sistem proteksi saat terjadi gangguan hubung singkat. Adapun hasil yang didapat pada penelitian tugas akhir ini adalah selisih waktu respon antar proteksi pada tipikal 1 yaitu selisih waktu kerja respon pengaman antara rele R-39 filling bldg dengan rele R-10 48-FDR-28 adalah sebesar 200 milidetik dan selisih antara rele R-10 48-FDR28 dengan rele R-9 30-FDR-28 adalah sebesar 200 milidetik.

To get reliable production results, a good electric power system is needed. PT Badak NGL is a company that converts natural gas into liquefied natural gas. A high-quality continuous electrical system is required in the natural gas processing process to ensure the continuity of the factory's electric power supply and to mitigate the negative impact of a disturbance. A short circuit disturbance is one of the possible electrical system disturbances. In connection with this, this final project is focused on the correct overcurrent relay coordination setting based on single line diagram simulation of the electrical system using ETAP 12.6.0 software. From this simulation, a short circuit analysis can be carried out on the electrical system of the feeder community 28 PT Badak NGL and determine the coordination response of the protection system where there is a short circuit. As for the results obtained in the study of this final task, the difference in response time between protections on the typical 1 is that the gap between the safety response time of the R-39 filling bldg relay and the R-10 48-FDR-28 relay is 200 milliseconds, and the R-10 48-FDR-28 relay's response time differs from the R- 9 30-FDR-28 relay by the same amount.
