Abstract

Meningkatnya jumlah pengguna internet di Indonesia menunjukkan meningkatnya permintaan, khususnya di Wilayah Timur dimana layanan telekomunikasi masih belum mencukupi. Untuk menjawab tantangan ini dan meraih peluang bisnis, PT. XYZ mengusulkan perluasan layanan di provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat, yang merupakan penghubung penting untuk meningkatkan cakupan di Indonesia Timur. Dengan menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) untuk pemilihan lokasi, studi ini mengidentifikasi kota-kota utama untuk pembangunan. Perancangan sistem melibatkan penetapan struktur hierarki, penentuan kriteria dan bobot alternatif. Dengan rasio konsistensi target ≤ 0,1, perbandingan berpasangan alternatif berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan menghasilkan alternatif terbaik. AHP menyoroti proses legalitas sebagai kriteria kritis dengan bobot tertinggi (0,4228), dan Kota Mataram muncul sebagai lokasi pembangunan utama dengan bobot tertinggi (0,3270).

The increasing number of internet users in Indonesia highlights the growing demand, particularly in the Eastern Region where telecommunication services remain insufficient. To address this challenge and seize business opportunities, PT. XYZ proposes service expansion in West Nusa Tenggara province, serving as a crucial link to enhance coverage in Eastern Indonesia. Utilizing the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method for location selection, the study identifies key cities for development. The system design involves establishing a hierarchical structure, determining criteria and alternative weights. With a target consistency ratio of ≤ 0.1, pairwise comparisons of alternatives based on predetermined criteria yields the best alternative. The AHP highlights the legality process as a critical criterion with the highest weight (0.4228), and Mataram City emerges as the primary development location with the highest weight point (0.3270).
