Abstract

Di era globalisasi yang semakin pesat dan persaingan bisnis yang semakin ketat saat ini, organisasi dituntut untuk memaksimalkan kinerjanya untuk mencapai keunggulan kompetitif dan kesuksesan. Kinerja merupakan salah satu indikator kunci keberhasilan suatu entitas. Di sisi lain, penerapan knowledge management dalam suatu organisasi dapat memberikan beberapa manfaat yang signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Peneliti berusaha menjawab pertanyaan penelitian apakah servant leadership dengan mediasi knowledge management mempunyai dampak signifikan terhadap kinerja pada perusahaan e-fulfillment. Servant leadership merupakan salah satu pendekatan untuk meningkatkan kinerja, di sisi lain knowledge management memfasilitasi pembelajaran dan akses pengetahuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja. Penelitian ini belum pernah dilakukan, oleh karena itu diperlukan validasi. Studi kasus yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah unit bisnis e-fulfillment PT X. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dengan pengukuran skala likert dan random sampling yang melibatkan 104 responden karyawan e-fulfillment PT X. Hipotesis diuji dengan menggunakan metode Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) Second Order and Structural Equation Model (SEM) berbasis kovarian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa servant leadership berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap knowledge management dan kinerja. Knowledge management berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja. Selain itu, knowledge management secara parsial memediasi pengaruh servant leadership terhadap kinerja. Beberapa dimensi servant leadership (empowerment, accountability, humility, dan stewardship) berkontribusi besar dalam menciptakan kondisi yang mendukung efektivitas penerapan knowledge management yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan kinerja.

In the current era of rapid globalization and increasingly fierce business competition, organizations are required to maximize their performance to achieve competitive advantage and success. Performance is one of the key indicators of an entity's success. On the other hand, implementing knowledge management in an organization can provide several significant benefits to company performance. The researcher attempted to answer the research questions does servant leadership with knowledge management mediation have significant impact on performance at e-fulfillment company. Servant leadership is one of the approaches to improve performance, on the other hand knowledge management facilitates learning and knowledge access to enhance performance. This study has never been conducted therefore validation is needed. The case study used in this research is e-fulfillment business unit of PT X. The method of the study using questionnaire with a Likert scale measurement and random sampling involved 104 respondents of e-fulfillment employees of PT X. The hypotheses were tested using Second Order Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and covariance-based Structural Equation Model (SEM). The research results show that servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on knowledge management and performance. Knowledge management has a positive and significant effect on performance. Apart from that, knowledge management partially mediates the effect of servant leadership on performance. Several dimensions of servant leadership (empowerment, accountability, humility, and stewardship) greatly contributed creating conditions that support the effectiveness of knowledge management implementation which can ultimately improve performance.
