Abstract

PT. Smelting Company Gresik adalah perusahaan yang disediakan oleh PT. Linde di mana saat ini Perusahaan peleburan tidak memiliki perangkat lunak untuk menghitung Pengaturan Time Dial. Oleh karena itu, analisis Sistem Proteksi menggunakan perangkat lunak ETAP diperlukan untuk memfasilitasi PT. Smelting Company. Sistem proteksi tenaga listrik ini meminimalkan kegagalan sistem yang dapat mengakibatkan ketidakstabilan sistem, kerusakan peralatan potensial, dan bahaya bagi manusia. Untuk mencapai sistem proteksi yang handal, cepat, dan akurat, koordinasi perangkat proteksi diperlukan untuk dengan cepat membatasi kesalahan. Ketika gangguan terjadi dalam sistem tenaga listrik, peralatan pelindung, seperti rele arus lebih dan pemutus sirkuit, akan beroperasi sesuai dengan urutan koordinasi mereka. Aspek penting yang harus dipertimbangkan dalam koordinasi proteksi, khususnya untuk rele arus lebih, adalah pengaturan parameter Pengaturan Time Dial (TDS). TDS menentukan waktu operasi rele untuk melindungi terhadap gangguan. Biasanya, nilai TDS ditentukan melalui perhitungan manual untuk mendapatkan nilai TDS minimum. Namun, mencapai nilai TDS yang tepat untuk koordinasi dengan rele lain masih bergantung pada metode trial dan error. Dalam proyek akhir ini, saya akan membahas metode perhitungan untuk pengaturan Time Dial dari rele arus lebih waktu inverse menggunakan Algoritma Firefly Termodifikasi Adaptif (AMFA). Studi akan dilakukan pada sistem listrik di PT. Smelting Company di Gresik, dengan harapan bahwa penggunaan metode AMFA akan menghasilkan nilai TDS dan jenis kurva yang sesuai dengan batasan yang ada.

PT. Smelting Company Gresik is a company provided by PT. Linde where currently The smelting company does not have software to calculate the Time Dial Setting. Therefore, an analysis of the Protection System using ETAP software is needed to facilitate PT. Smelting Company. This electrical power protection system minimizes system failures that can result in system instability, potential equipment damage, and hazards to humans. To achieve a reliable, fast, and accurate protection system, coordination of protection devices is needed to quickly localize faults. When a disturbance occurs in the electrical power system, the protective equipment, such as overcurrent relays and circuit breakers, will operate according to their coordination sequence. An important aspect to consider in protection coordination, particularly for overcurrent relays, is the setting of Time Dial Setting (TDS) parameters. TDS determines the relay's operating time to protect against a fault. Typically, the TDS value is determined through manual calculations to obtain the minimum TDS value. However, achieving the precise TDS value for coordination with other relays still relies on trial-and-error methods. In this final project, we will discuss the calculation method for the time dial setting of inverse time overcurrent relays using the Adaptive Modified Firefly Algorithm (AMFA). The study will be conducted on the electrical system at PT. Smelting Company in Gresik, with the hope that the use of the AMFA method will produce TDS values and curve types that are appropriate according to existing limitations.
