Abstract

The need for electrical energy continues to increase along with technological advances and the increasing human population. Electrical energy is much needed by people who live in regions and cities. The use of electrical energy for the needs of electricity source facilities both small scale and medium scale to the top, the source of electrical energy on the island of Lombok continues to increase, especially the supply of electricity through the power plant and channeled through the transmission network and distributed through distribution channels so that electricity reaches customers. Load flow analysis research is to obtain information about the flow of power or voltage on an electric power system network. The benefit of power flow analysis is to find out the overall condition of an electric power system whether it still meets the predetermined limits and to find out the amount of losses that exist. And short circuit analysis aims to find out how much the contribution current of each branch during a short circuit fault. With this short circuit analysis, it can be used as a basis for determining the circuit breaker rating that will be used as a safety and can also be used for determining relay settings. The simulation results show the value of the system voltage profile above the nominal voltage and is still within the range of PLN Standard No. 1 of 1995 which is -10% and +5% of the nominal voltage, and the system losses obtained are increasing with increasing load on the system. Then for the short circuit current, the current value is obtained greater as the number of loads on the system increases and the current is still within safe limits because it is still below 40 kA.
