Abstract
PT.Petrokimia Gresik merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi bahan kimia dan pupuk membutuhkan energi listrik yang besar. Untuk memanfaatkan energi listrik yang ada serta menjaga keandalan dan kualitas sistem tenaga listrik dari kerusakan peralatan, maka diperlukan suatu sistem pengaman dan pemeliharaan instalasi gardu induk. Dalam suatu gardu induk terdapat peralatan yang berfungsi untuk mengubah daya listrik dari tegangan tinggi ke tegangan rendah atau sebaliknya yaitu trafo. Pada jaringan sistem distribusi, transformator merupakan komponen yang paling penting dalam penyaluran tenaga listrik dari gardu distribusi ke konsumen. Transformator pada gardu induk 20 kV sering mengalami perubahan beban yang diakibatkan Gangguan hubungan singkat fasa ke tanah dan fasa-fasa merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang mungkin timbul dalam pengoperasian transformator daya dalam sebuah gardu induk. Gangguan yang disebabkan oleh adanya hubungan singkat menimbulkan banyak kerugian pada sistem transmisi kelistrikan maupun kerugian di pihak konsumen energi listrik. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi gangguan ini adalah dengan memasang peralatan pengaman pada transformator PIU. Evaluasi proteksi sistem dilakukan untuk menjaga efektivitas dan daya tahan peralatan sistem tenaga listrik agar dapat bekerja sebagaimana mestinya sehingga kontinuitas penyaluran tetap terjaga dengan baik. Sistem proteksi diperlukan untuk mengamankan dari gangguan hubung singkat, sistem proteksi yang digunakan untuk melindungi transformator adalah OCR (Over Current Relay), GFR (Ground Fault Relay) Untuk meningkatkan performa dari sistem proteksi perlu dilakukan analisa terhadap setting dan koordinasi rele proteksi yang ada seperti rele arus lebih. In a substation there is equipment that functions to change electrical power from high voltage to low voltage or vice versa, namely a transformer. In the distribution system network, the transformer is the most important component in distributing electrical power from the distribution substation to consumers. Transformers in 20 kV substations often experience changes in load due to phase-to-ground and phase-to-phase short circuits is one of the problems that may arise in the operation of power transformers in a substation. Disturbances caused by short circuits cause many losses to the electrical transmission system as well as losses to consumers of electrical energy. One way to overcome this interference is to install safety equipment on the PIU transformer. Evaluation of system protection is carried out to maintain the effectiveness and durability of electrical power system equipment so that it can work as it should so that distribution continuity is maintained properly. A protection system is needed to protect against short circuit disturbances. The protection system used to protect the transformer is OCR (Over Current Relay), GFR (Ground Fault Relay).
