Abstract

Indonesia has long relied on natural gas as the main energy source in various sectors such as transportation, the fertilizer and petrochemical industry, and electricity generation. This is because the natural gas sector in Indonesia has promising potential with proven reserves of around 41.62 TCF. The large demand of natural gas in various sectors encourages SKK Migas to continue increasing oil and gas production by strengthening natural gas infrastructure (Akasah, 2022). One of the things that can be done to increase equipment effectiveness is to carry out regular evaluation of the effectiveness of production facilities. One of many methods to do effectiveness evaluation is by using Overall Equipment Effectiveness method, with the measured OEE for ST Block 1.1 unit at 81.30%. The measured OEE value is considered below the required standard and six big losses method is used to determine the most significant factor that affects the low effectiveness. Six Big Losses method concludes that the most significant factor that affects the low effectiveness of ST Block 1.1 unit is reduced speed losses, contributing 98.38%. FMEA method also identifies failure modes in ST Block 1.1 unit with the highest risk failure mode being HRSG with RPN score of 108. FMEA method is then followed by RCM method to determine the most suitable action to mitigate each of the failure modes.
