Abstract

Teman Bus merupakan layanan transportasi bus yang didirikan oleh Kementerian Perhubungan Republik Indonesia untuk meningkatkan keselamatan, keamanan, dan kenyamanan mobilisasi. Layanan Teman Bus dapat diakses melalui aplikasi Teman Bus yang dapat diunduh secara gratis pada Google Play Store untuk mempermudah konsumen dalam mengetahui informasi bus. Namun, desain aplikasi Teman Bus yang kurang bagus, hal ini berdampak pada menurunnya minat konsumen untuk terus menggunakan aplikasi. Konsep emotional design dan human performance memiliki pengaruh terhadap keinginan konsumen untuk menggunakan teknologi. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh emotional design dan human performance terhadap keinginan konsumen menggunakan aplikasi Teman Bus. Pengumpulan data menggunakan penyebaran kuesioner secara online dan offline serta pengerjaan task dengan index of difficulty level 1 (mudah), level 2 (sedang), dan level 3 (sulit) terhadap mahasiswa yang berdomisili di Surabaya dan pernah menggunakan aplikasi Teman Bus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan variabel usability dan information quality sebagai representasi dari emotional design berpengaruh signifikan terhadap niat konsumen menggunakan aplikasi Teman Bus. Sedangkan aspek human performance yang diukur menggunakan completion time dipengaruhi oleh index of difficulty pengerjaan tugas pada aplikasi Teman Bus. Rekomendasi perbaikan dibuat berdasarkan variabel-variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap niat penggunaan aplikasi Teman Bus.

Teman Bus is a bus service established by the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia to improve mobilization's safety, security, and comfort. The Teman Bus service can be accessed through the Teman Bus application which can be downloaded for free on the Google Play Store to make it easier for consumers to find bus information. However, the design of the Teman Bus application is not good, this has an impact on reducing consumer intention to use the application. The concept of emotional design and human performance influence consumer intention to use technology. The research aims to determine the effect of emotional design and human performance on consumer intention to use the Teman Bus application. Data collection uses questionnaires distributed online and offline as well as completing tasks with an index of difficulty level 1 (easy), level 2 (medium), and level 3 (hard) for students who live in Surabaya and have used the Teman Bus application. The results of this research show that the usability and information quality variables as representations of emotional design significantly affect consumers' intentions to use the Teman Bus application. Meanwhile, the human performance aspect measured using completion time is influenced by the task’s index of difficulty in using the Teman Bus application. Recommendations for improvement are made based on variables that affect consumer intention to use the Teman Bus application.
