Abstract

Di Indonesia, banyak jalan dibangun bersebelahan dengan sungai yang dikarenakan beberapa faktor baik dari segi geografis, topografi maupun fungsi dari sungai tersebut. Salah satunya pada ruas jalan Trengguli – Kudus yang berada di sepanjang ruas Pantura dimana jalan tersebut dihimpit oleh dua sungai. Ruas Jalan tersebut sering mengalami kerusakan dominan retak memanjang. Sungai perlu menjadi pertimbangan dengan adanya pengaruh perubahan muka air sungai terhadap kestabilan jalan terlebih lagi jika terjadi penurunan muka air secara tiba-tiba (rapid drawdown). Air hujan juga perlu dipertimbangkan terhadap stabilitasnya mengingat hujan yang terjadi sangat intens, terlebih lagi jalan sudah dalam kondisi retak.
Penelitian ini dilakukan secara numerik menggunakan bantuan program Plaxis dengan fluktuasi muka air sungai dan curah hujan sesuai kondisi lapangan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menguji dampak dari beban kendaraan berlebih yang mungkin menjadi penyebab permukaan jalan menjadi retak. Adapun jalan yang mengalami retak, dilakukan pengujian geofisika untuk melihat dampak yang terjadi di bawah tanah.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya rapid drawdown menyebabkan penurunan nilai angka keamanan secara siginikan (semula SF=1,751 menjadi SF=1,172). Walaupun pengaruh hujan tidak terlalu membawa pengaruh yang begitu besar namun tetap menurunkan angka keamanan (SF=1,152). Meskipun begitu kondisi lereng masih dalam kondisi aman. Adapun durasi terjadinya rapid drawdown hanya memiliki perbedaan < 1,35%. Beban kendaraan yang lewat sangat mempengaruhi kestabilan jalan, adapun indikasi nilai MST yang pernah melewati jalan ini mendekati MST 16,46 ton yang membuat jalan berdeformasi dan memunculkan retakan pada perkerasan. Perbaikan jalan yang dilakukan PPK 3.1 Provinsi Jawa Tengah membuat beban kendaraan yang mampu dipikul jalan berkurang menjadi MST 14,05 ton. Adapun penanganan selanjutnya yang direkomendasikan adalah perkuatan menggunakan micropile dengan ukuran 350 mm x 350 mm yang dipasang di sempadan jalan.

In Indonesia, many roads are built next to rivers due to several factors in terms of geography, topography, and function of the river. One of them is on the Trengguli - Kudus road along the Pantura route, where the road is situated between two rivers. This particular road section often experiences predominant longitudinal cracking. The proximity of the rivers needs to be considered in relation to the potential impacts of changes in the river water level on the road's stability, especially in the event of a sudden decrease in water level (rapid drawdown). Rainwater also needs to be taken into account for its effect on stability, given the intense rainfall, particularly when the road is already in a cracked condition.
This research was conducted numerically using the Plaxis program, taking into account river water level fluctuations and rainfall conditions that correspond to the field conditions. Additionally, the study also examined the impact of excessive vehicle loads, which could potentially lead to road surface cracking. For roads experiencing cracks, geophysical testing was performed to assess the subsurface effects.
This study's results indicate that rapid drawdown causes a significant decrease in the safety factor (initially SF=1.751 reduced to SF=1.172). Even though the influence of rainfall is relatively small, it still reduces the safety factor (SF=1.152). However, the slope conditions are still within safe limits. The duration of the rapid drawdown only has a difference of <1.35%. Excessive vehicle loads greatly affect road stability, indications are that the MST value on this road is approximately 16.46 tons, causing deformation and cracks in the pavement. The road repair conducted by PPK 3.1 of Central Java Province has reduced the road's load-bearing capacity to MST 14.05 tons. The recommended further intervention is reinforcement using micropiles with dimensions of 350 mm x 350 mm, to be installed at the road's edge.
