Abstract

Dalam industri banyak yang menggunakan cairan (cairan) sebagai bahan pada proses pengolahannya. Pada proses yang berhubungan cairan sering dijumpai sistem pengaturan level cairan. Dalam pengaturan level, untuk mendapatkan kinerja yang optimal banyak proses industri yang menggunakan PID kontroler. Akan tetapi kontroler PID konvensional kurang mampu menangani perubahan pada variabel manipulasi yaitu berupa gangguan debit pada sistem pengaturan level. Sehingga dibutuhkan sistem kontrol level ketinggian air menggunakan kontroler Fuzzy Logic PID pada PCT-100. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan performa dan presisi dalam mengendalikan level air pada suatu tangki. Kontroler Fuzzy Logic PID digunakan untuk mengatasi ketidakpastian dan kompleksitas yang terkait dengan dinamika sistem non-linear tangki air. Metode kontrol Fuzzy Logic memungkinkan representasi aturan kendali berdasarkan pengetahuan manusia secara linguistik, yang memudahkan penanganan variabilitas dalam sistem dan ketidakpastian yang mungkin muncul selama operasi. Integrasi dengan kontrol PID memberikan kontribusi dalam menjaga stabilitas dan mengoptimalkan respons terhadap perubahan gangguan. Penelitian ini melibatkan pemodelan matematis dari plant PCT-100, perancangan kontroler Fuzzy Logic PID, dan simulasi. Hasil eksperimen dan simulasi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kontroler Fuzzy Logic PID dapat memberikan kinerja kontrol yang baik dibandingkan dengan tanpa kontroler dan metode kontrol PID konvensional pada sistem PCT-100.

In many industries, liquids are used as ingredients in the processing process. In processes involving fluids, fluid level control systems are often encountered. In level settings, to obtain optimal performance, many industrial processes use PID controllers. However, conventional PID controllers are less able to handle changes in manipulated variables, namely in the form of discharge disturbances in the level setting system. So a water level control system is needed using the Fuzzy Logic PID controller on the PCT-100. The main objective of this research is to improve performance and precision in controlling the water level in a tank. Fuzzy Logic PID controllers are used to overcome the uncertainty and complexity associated with the dynamics of non-linear water tank systems. The Fuzzy Logic control method allows the linguistic representation of control rules based on human knowledge, which makes it easier to handle variability in the system and uncertainties that may arise during operation. Integration with PID control contributes to maintaining stability and optimizing response to changing disturbances. This research involves mathematical modeling of the PCT-100 plant, Fuzzy Logic PID controller design, and simulation. Experimental and simulation results show that the use of a Fuzzy Logic PID controller can provide good control performance compared to without a controller and conventional PID control methods on the PCT-100 system.
