Abstract

Industri fashion menjadi salah satu industri yang perkembangannya di prioritaskan oleh pemerintah karena mampu memberikan kontribusi yang besar terhadap perekonomian Indonesia. Fenomena ini mendorong pemerintah menetapkan target dengan menjadikan Indonesia sebagai modest fashion tren global. Pencapaian ini dapat diraih melalui kontribusi UMKM dengan menerapkan rantai pasok yang efektif dan efisien dari hulu ke hilir. Penelitian ini akan menjelaskan bagaimana hasil penerapan beberapa variabel yaitu variabel information sharing, network management dan inventory management. Dimana ketiga variabel tersebut jika dikelola dengan baik maka dapat meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan di industri fashion UMKM. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menguji pengaruh antar variabel serta memberikan rekomendasi hasil penelitian pada pelaku UMKM fashion guna meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan dari sisi keuangan dan pemasaran. Objek penelitian ini adalah pelaku industri fashion UMKM dengan melakukan teknik convinience sampling kepada 50 pelaku UMKM fashion. Metode penelitian ini merupakan kuantitatif dengan alat uji menggunakan SEM (Structural Equation Modelling) berbasis variance atau SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian dari pengembangan hipotesis menunjukan bahwa Information Sharing dan inventory management berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Operational Performance sedangkan Network Management tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Operational dan Operational Performance berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Strategic Performance. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan beberapa rekomendasi yang dapat diterapkan oleh pelaku UMKM fashion seperti secara terus-menerus memperkuat inisiatif berbagi informasi, meningkatkan manajemen inventaris, dan aktif mengikuti program sosialisasi yang diselenggarakan pemerintah guna meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan, menciptakan daya saing yang lebih kuat, dan merangsang pertumbuhan bisnis.

The fashion industry is prioritized by the Indonesian government due to its potential to significantly contribute to the country's economy. This emphasis has prompted the government to set ambitious targets, aiming to position Indonesia as a global leader in the modest fashion trend. To attain this goal, the government recognizes the crucial role of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the fashion sector. The key strategy involves implementing effective and efficient supply chains, spanning from upstream to downstream. This study aims to elucidate how the application of specific variables, namely information sharing, network management, and inventory management, can impact the performance of companies in the MSME fashion industry. Proper management of these variables is anticipated to enhance the overall performance of these businesses, both financially and in terms of marketing. The research will explore the relationships between these variables and provide valuable recommendations for MSME fashion players to bolster their competitiveness and foster business growth. The research focuses on MSME fashion industry players, with a sample size of 50 participants selected through convenience sampling techniques. The quantitative research method employed utilizes variance-based Structural Equation Modelling (SEM-PLS) for testing hypotheses. The initial hypothesis development suggests that information sharing and inventory management significantly effect operational performance. However, network management does not demonstrate a significant effect on operational performance. Additionally, operational performance is found to significantly affect strategic performance. Based on the study's findings, several recommendations can be proposed for MSME players in the fashion industry such as consistently reinforcing information-sharing initiatives, enhancing inventory management, and actively participating in government-organized socialization programs to enhance company performance, foster stronger competitiveness, and stimulate business growth.
