Abstract
Setiap perguruan tinggi memiliki sistem informasi manajemen pendidikan tinggi sebagai bentuk pemenuhan kebutuhan layanan kemahasiswaan, kurikulum, sarana, dan pembiayaan. Sistem manajemen informasi diciptakan dalam rangka meningkatkan produktivitas kerja di lembaga pendidikan sehingga berdampak pada meningkatnya mutu pendidikan. Namun demikian, terdapat kasus pada universitas X dimana sistem manajemen pendidikannya belum terintegrasi antar satu bidang layanan dengan yang lain. Universitas X memiliki 4 (empat) bidang layanan yang terdiri dari akademik dan kemahasiswaan, transformasi kelembagaan dan sumber daya, kepesantrenan dan kerja sama bisnis, dimana masing-masing memiliki sistem informasi pada platform berbeda serta melibatkan proses bisnis manual. Hal ini menjadikan informasi dari berbagai layanan harus di rekonsiliasi secara manual. Untuk itu perlu adanya sebuah otomasi dan digitalisasi sistem yang terintegrasi baik secara platform, atau design data yang dapat memudahkan user dapat dengan mudah berkolaborasi dalam mengakses informasi secara self-service dengan optimal, efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang Enterprise Architecture (EA) Integrated Management Information System baik dari aspek bisnis, teknologi, aplikasi sebagai solusi optimalisasi manajemen pendidikan tinggi. Salah satu framework yang dapat dijadikan acuan dalam membangun EA adalah TOGAF ADM. Hal ini didasarkan pada beberapa penelitian sebelumnya bahwa TOGAF ADM merupakan best practice untuk organisasi yang belum pernah menggunakan EA. Selain itu TOGAF ADM dapat digunakan dalam berbagai jenis perancangan sistem dengan kompleksitas dan fleksibilitasnya yang baik. Data primer penelitian didapatkan dengan cara interview pada stakeholder layanan pendidikan untuk memahami proses bisnis pada Universitas X. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengukuran gap dari sistem terkini dengan sistem yang direncanakan dengan menggunakan questionaire dan focus group discussion pada perwakilan 4 (empat) bidang layanan. Validasi rancangan melibatkan stakeholder, menunjukkan bahwa perancangan telah sesuai dengan skor 4,3 dengan catatan perlu pendetailan lebih lanjut pada arsitektur data dan teknologi, serta analisis mengenai prioritas biaya dan SDM pada roadmap implementasi arsitektur. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi berupa blueprint enterprise architecture untuk menciptakan sistem informasi yang terintegrasi, digitalisasi proses bisnis dan optimalisasi layanan melalui integrasi data, aplikasi, dan pengembangan teknologi. Realisasi dari rancangan akan membuat layanan berjalan lebih optimal dengan efisiensi 29 kegiatan bisnis yang saat ini dilakukan secara manual pada proses bisnis universitas X. Selain itu juga dapat menjadi referensi penelitian yang akan datang lebih jauh dengan penambahan unsur IT security dan IT Governance.

Each university has an higher education management information system as a form of meeting the needs of student services, personnel, curriculum, facilities, financing, and public relations. The information management system was created to increase work productivity in educational institutions so that it has an impact on increasing the quality of education. However, there is a case at university X where the education management system has not been integrated between one service sector and another. University X has 4 (four) service areas consisting of academic and student affairs, institutional transformation and resources, boarding schools and business cooperation, each of which has an information system on a different platform and involves manual business processes. This makes information from various services reconciled manually. For this reason, it is necessary to have an integrated automation and digitalization system both on a platform basis, or data design that can make it easier for users to easily collaborate in accessing information optimally, effectively, and efficiently self-service. This study aims to design an Enterprise Architecture (EA) Integrated Management Information System from both the business, technology, and application aspects as a solution for optimizing higher education management. One of the frameworks that can be used as a reference in building EA is TOGAF ADM. This is based on several previous studies which explain that the use of TOGAF ADM is a best practice that can be used for organizations that have never used EA. In addition, TOGAF ADM can be used in various types of system design with its good complexity and flexibility. Primary data was obtained by means of interviews with education service stakeholders to understand business processes at a private university that does not yet have an integrated system. Furthermore, measurement of the gap between the existing system and the planned system was carried out using a questionnaire and focus group discussion representing 4 (four) service areas. Validation of the design involving stakeholders showed that the design was in accordance with a score of 4.3, noting that further details were needed on the data and technology architecture, as well as analysis of cost and human resource priorities on the architecture implementation roadmap. This research provide output in the form of an Enterprise Architecture model (blueprint) for creating integrated information system, digitizing business processes and optimizing services through data integration, applications and technology development. The realization of the design will make services run more optimally with the efficiency of 29 business activities which are currently carried out manually in X University's business processes. This research can also be a reference for further research with the addition of IT security as well as IT Governance.
