Abstract

Digitalisasi industri 4.0 memberikan berbagai manfaat bagi perusahaan, termasuk peningkatan efisiensi operasional, produktivitas, layanan pelanggan, dan analisis data. PT. Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero) sedang mengimplementasikan transformasi digital untuk mempercepat bisnis klasifikasi. Mereka mengembangkan aplikasi `Digitalized Ship Maintenance Management System` dengan pendekatan Design Thinking untuk memberikan nilai tambah kepada pelanggan dan mendukung integrasi data pemerintah. Saat ini, aplikasi tersebut fokus pada pengumpulan data perawatan kapal dan peringatan jatuh tempo, namun belum dapat digunakan untuk pengambilan keputusan atau analisis data. Implementasi digitalisasi ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat posisi PT. BKI sebagai badan klasifikasi internasional dan mendukung integrasi data pemerintah. Implementasi digitalisasi, seperti yang dilakukan oleh PT. BKI melalui pengembangan aplikasi `Digitalized Ship Maintenance Management System`, merupakan langkah penting dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk memberikan nilai tambah kepada pelanggan dan mendukung transformasi bisnis. Namun, perlu diingat bahwa digitalisasi hanya merupakan langkah awal dalam perjalanan transformasi digital. Penting untuk terus mengembangkan dan mengintegrasikan solusi digital guna memastikan efektivitas dan kebermanfaatan bagi perusahaan serta stakeholder-nya. Dengan pendekatan Design Thinking dan fokus pada kebutuhan pengguna, perusahaan dapat memastikan bahwa implementasi digitalisasi benar-benar mendukung efisiensi dan percepatan proses bisnis, serta memperkuat posisi perusahaan dalam persaingan global.

The digitalization of industry 4.0 provides various benefits for companies, including improved operational efficiency, productivity, customer service and data analysis. PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero) is implementing digital transformation to accelerate its classification business. They developed the `Digitalized Ship Maintenance Management System` application with a Design Thinking approach to provide added value to customers and support government data integration. Currently, the application focuses on collecting ship maintenance data and overdue alerts, but cannot yet be used for decision-making or data analysis. The implementation of digitalization is expected to strengthen PT BKI`s position as an international classification society and support government data integration.The implementation of digitalization, as carried out by PT BKI through the development of the `Digitalized Ship Maintenance Management System` application, is an important step in leveraging technology to provide added value to customers and support business transformation. However, it is important to remember that digitization is only the first step in the digital transformation journey. It is important to continuously develop and integrate digital solutions to ensure effectiveness and usefulness for the company and its stakeholders. With a Design Thinking approach and a focus on user needs, companies can ensure that the implementation of digitalization truly supports the efficiency and acceleration of business processes, and strengthens the company`s position in global competition.
