Abstract

perangkat lunak simulasi Ansys.

The chassis of the green light florent prototype is the focus of research because of the importance of technology development and energy efficiency in participating in the Energy Efficient Car Contest (KMHE). Chassis is a framework that supports all the components above it, so the chassis must be strong and small in mass (light) to increase the efficiency of the vehicle.
The research method used is to make modifications to chassis variations by optimizing the size and structure, then conducting elemental analysis using Ansys simulation software. In addition, this research will also explore the use of lightweight but strong full aluminum material.
This research will make an alternative design of 3 kinds of florent green light prototype chassis and then static loading analysis will be carried out. The goal is to get a lighter chassis modification mass and have a strong and safe structure with parameters namely deformation, stress / tension, strain / strain, and safety factor. In determining the final results of this study using type 1 loading because this simulation is close to the actual conditions.
From the results of the analysis and calculation of alternative chassis design 2 florent green light prototype has a smaller mass of 6,850 kg. Then from the simulation results the maximum stress is 53,813 Mpa which is smaller than the allowable stress of 99,880 Mpa. And the results of the software simulation of the maximum deformation value of 0,308 mm, the maximum strain of 0,000792 and the safety factor of 4,218. The results of this research are
expected to provide valuable insights in the design of a more efficient and sustainable energysaving prototype car chassis. The findings of this research can be used as the development of future energy-efficient vehicles, which will help reduce environmental impact and save energy
resources.
