Abstract

Penelitian tugas akhir ini telah dilakukan identifikasi sistem, analisis kualitatif, dan analisis kuantitatif. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui equipment unit kritis penyusun amine regeneration system, serta menentukan jenis dan jadwal perawatan yang efektif untuk mencegah terjadinya kegagalan dan meningkatkan keandalan. Metode pertama yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan Failure Mode Effcet Criticality Analysis (FMECA) yang berguna untuk menentukan jenis, penyebab, dan dampak kegagalan dari equipment, menentukan equipment kritis berdasarkan nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) dan Critically Analysis (CA), serta menentukan jenis perawatan untuk mengatasi setiap kegagalan yang terjadi pada equipment penyusun sistem dengan Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Decision Worksheet. Metode kedua adalah metode kuantitatif dengan evaluasi keandalan untuk mengetahui interval waktu perawatan equipment unit, serta evaluasi preventive maintenance untuk meningkatkan nilai keandalan dari equipment unit. Equipment unit kritis penyusun amine regeneration system antara lain,rich amine exchanger, hot lean amine pump, amine mechanical filter, solvent filter, amine reflux drum, dan amine reflux pump yang diperoleh berdasarkan hasil critically analysis. Jenis perawatan yang efektif pada equipment unit ditentukan berdasarkan failure mode dengan nilai RPN tertinggi. Jadwal perawatan equipment unit ditentukan berdasarkan waktu operasi pada saat nilai reliability equipment unit R(t) = 55%, serta preventive maintenance (PM) pada equipment unit dengan jenis laju kegagalan IFR (increasing failure rate).

This final project research has carried out system identification, qualitative analysis, and quantitative analysis. The purpose of this research is to determine the critical unit equipment that makes up the amine regeneration system, as well as determine the type and schedule of effective maintenance to prevent failure and increase reliability. The first method used is a qualitative method with Failure Mode Effective Criticality Analysis (FMECA) which is useful for determining the type, cause and impact of equipment failure, determining critical equipment based on the Risk Priority Number (RPN) and Critically Analysis (CA) values, and determining type of maintenance to overcome any failures that occur on the equipment that makes up the system with the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Decision Worksheet. The second method is a quantitative method with reliability evaluation to determine the time interval for equipment unit maintenance, as well as preventive maintenance evaluation to increase the reliability value of the equipment unit. The critical unit equipment that makes up the amine regeneration system includes rich amine exchanger, hot lean amine pump, amine mechanical filter, solvent filter, amine reflux drum, and amine reflux pump which were obtained based on the results of critical analysis. The type of effective maintenance on unit equipment is determined based on the failure mode with the highest RPN value. The equipment unit maintenance schedule is determined based on operating time when the equipment unit reliability value is R(t) = 55%, as well as preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment units with the IFR (increasing failure rate) type of failure rate.
