Abstract

Penelitian terkait kinerja pegawai di instansi pemerintahan dengan metode SEM-PLS secara khusus belum dieksplorasi secara komprehensif. Hal ini mengingat kemampuan suatu instansi untuk mencapai dan memenuhi berbagai tujuan dan tantangan sangatlah bergantung pada kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji beberapa variabel yang diduga mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai, yaitu gaya kepemimpinan, jenjang karir, reward dan punishment. Dalam penelitian ini akan dikembangkan dengan menggunakan 5 variabel penelitian, yaitu gaya kepemimpinan, jenjang karir, reward, punishment, dan kinerja pegawai. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil kuesioner terkait gaya kepemimpinan, jenjang karir, reward, punishment, dan kinerja pegawai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu model SEM-PLS dengan bantuan perangkat lunak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan dan punishment berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai. Sedangkan jenjang karir dan reward masing-masing tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai. Adapun variabel yang dapat direkomendasikan pada Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Jombang antara lain gaya kepemimpinan dengan indikator transformasional, jenjang karir dengan indikator mutasi, reward dengan indikator bonus dan gaji, punishment dengan indikator hukuman ringan, dan kinerja pegawai dengan indikator kualitas.

Research related to employee performance in government agencies using the SEM-PLS method in particular has not been comprehensively explored. This is because the ability of an agency to achieve and meet various goals and challenges is highly dependent on employee performance. This study aims to examine several variables that are thought to affect employee performance, namely leadership style, career path, reward and punishment. This research will be developed using 5 research variables, namely leadership style, career path, reward, punishment, and employee performance. The data source in this study is the results of questionnaires related to leadership style, career path, reward, punishment, and employee performance. The research method used is a quantitative approach. The analysis technique used is the SEM-PLS model with the help of software. The results showed that leadership style and punishment affect employee performance. Meanwhile, career paths and rewards have no effect on employee performance. The variables that can be recommended at the Jombang Regency Health Office include leadership style with transformational indicators, career paths with mutation indicators, rewards with bonus and salary indicators, punishment with mild punishment indicators, and employee performance with quality indicators
